Surely all us old bastards are too long in the tooth to be arsed with continuous singing and chanting. I reckon this statistic has just as much to do with the poor atmospheres as all seated stadiums.

As you dont go to any games, then I wouldnt expect you have any idea on what the actual atmosphere is like at grounds these days. The atmosphere in our own ground in relation to other premiership grounds has been fantastic. However in general, good atmosphere's in the last 10-20 years are decreasing year by year. Why do you think Villas Boas has criticised his own fans and Man utd have introduced a singing section.

"These days" you make it sound like ive been out of the UK for decades
Im making the point that people are now saying there is "no atmosphere" at your grounds when last moth everyone on here was saying it was amazing. Which is it to be?

I'm not just talking about our ground, that's why I said other Premiership grounds, keep upThe point is, we all know that the atmosphere at all Premiership games these days is predominantly crap, there is very little and one of the main reason is the lack of younger/teenager supporters, who tend to have the most energy, enthusiasm and should therefore generate the most noise on a regular basis

Not really. The atmosphere was dire last year, there were constant threads here requesting opinion how to improve it and that you could hear the players calling for the ball. So if this year it has improved and is now "good" while ticket prices have gone up then it sort of renders your point a bit null and void doesnt it?

We can do but the novelty of the Prem seems to be waning as does the atmosphere. Was electric in the first season, good in the second and from what I can gather from my sources this year as well as the TV - its pretty average.
