CITY FANS SHOWING THEIR TRUE COLOURS

Sun Oct 27, 2013 10:34 am

This photo from Wales Online was taken at yesterday's game.

The amount of blue there yesterday was more evident due to the sheer number of fans wearing our traditional colour.

There was 1,400 Bluebirds there yesterday and again at an away game, City fans show in good numbers their favour for blue.

I wish this could be replicated at home games.

Was it me or was our support quiet yesterday, in all fairness their fans were loud as, just think with an open type stand (high roof) makes it all a bit flat.
The same numbers packed into a small stand can sound so different.

Either that or six hours on the bus meant everyone to drunk to talk, let alone sing.

Was great to see.
Our support is increasingly proud or our proper colours and damned right we should be.

BLUE ARMY!

Laughing at the way Jamie looks like he's glaring at the photographer, probably thinking "I haven't done my hair and you've caught me, ya git!"

I agree with Gwyn, it was subdued yesterday but it was borne out of a very long journey and a truly awful performance by the City. It was very difficult to get excited about anything but there was the occasional spell of loud support. I was very disappointed with the Norwich fans, I thought they'd be much louder.

of course its going to be loads of blue! 100 years of history playing in blue and now in our 2nd season of red you aint going to see shit loads of red on older fans in away games, there will always be more blue right now

It's a fact that we now have 5-6,000 fans who didn't watch the club or didn't watch them so often when we weren't in the Premier league.

I've no problem with that, it happens everywhere, but a lot of them are more likely to wear red.

I've got a mate who has been to 3 home games, resplendent in his red shirt. Only around 5 years ago he took the piss out of me for supporting City. That's an absolute fact, and it pisses me off.

I thought we created a good atmosphere and kept it going all game.
The team didn't show us anything much to even increase the atmosphere so the amount of noise we generated was good in all fairness.
I was pleasantly suprised with the amount of people wearing the brand new blue shirt!
There was ALOT of blue there and it felt good to be around. One of the greatest parts of going to any away game with City!

WE'LL ALWAYS BE BLUE!

Never again for me mate
Atleast not on a coach!
7 hours up there and 7 back absolutely killed me!

It doesn't help when you have 2 of the 'Hill have eyes' cast following you around for the whole duration chanting "We're Cardiff City, We're from South Wales" :laughing5:

My six year old, Daniel, is there with me (roughly in the middle), wearing his old blue shirt from last year, at his first away game ! He's now unbeaten on his travels !!

We stayed overnight in a caravan park in Great Yarmouth.

Great trip, and glad we split it over two days !
