Sorry but I feel we should be winning these games

Most of you seem to be happy with a draw at Norwich, well I see this one as 2pts lost and now we really are in a batte for our lives, the real tough games are about to begin, the honey moon is over, from now on backs to the walls stuff every game and hope a player scores goals as we don't have quality strikers in my opinion for the big games coming up.
What Malky and our team do have though, is stamina,passion and guts

Will it be enough to stay up?

The big Dane has to go straight into the starting 11, replacing Campbell. He never looks like he's going to get a goal and we need to start scoring if we're gonna stay in this division. We need some fresh ideas.

Why do you expect to go to Norwich and beat them at home? We are a bottom 4 team and will be scrapping for points every game, any away point is a good point. What makes you think we are a better team than Norwich very strange.

I disagree annis. A point is a good result for us. At home it would be a different story.

Annis - you're right. I thought we gave Norwich too much respect. They ran at us at will, had too much room to run, and had umpteen corners. Even if they were the home team - it was still only Norwich at the end of the day. If we can go to Fulham and get in their faces from start to finish, we should be able to do the same to Norwich.

I'd like to see Cornelius straight in the side once he's ready as someone else has said here; we need two up front because we're doing nothing with the small number of chances we're creating. I don't like this thing of taking Medel off either; especially when he does the simple things well and we've got a team attacking us throughout the game...

Its not a bad point considering from what I've read it wasn't the best performance. I got a sneaky feeling we'll beat Swansea next week

Still got a point, but we now need something from the Jerks on sunday next week, have to say i would take a point again now

We had an off game we were dreadful for the first half but fair play to Malky he made 2 changes and it worked a lot better. Maybe playing an attacking line up was dangerous away from home but we did well to stay in it in the end. Clean sheet away from home is very good in this league and hopefully we can get away with another point or even 3 against Swansea!

Were Cardiff City not Chelsea. Get real. Any point away is good. I'm not on about the performance. Let's just remember who we are. People are getting carried away. Let's just keep our target of a point a game. In Malky we trust. Been saying this since he joined.

A point at fortress Carrow is a good point. These are the sorts o game s that we need to come away with something. Believe me the office will be very quiet on Monday as anything less than three points at home from a premier league struggler will bbe regarded as very bad news,

Norwich are in their third consecutive season in the Premier League, whilst we haven't even played 10 games in this division yet. Sorry, are we meant to expect to go to their home ground and take 3 points?

Norwich were the team expected to win this game, so they've actually dropped 2 points in their battle against relegation, whilst we've gained 1.

Why should we be winning these games, that was one of the worse performances I have seen for a while.

Agree we didnt deserve to win today at all. Only caught the second half and the amount of wayward passes i saw was ridiculous and lack of chances so god knows what the first was like! Good point for me given the way we played it looked like a matter of time before norwich scored.

didnt deserve a point today and on another day we may well have been beat 4-0. should have been dead and buried by half time, thanks to marshal again though we walk away with something.

although a point away is a good result we cant let teams dominate possession like we do. we cant just sit back and let teams come at us and have the odd flurry forward.

We'll stay up as long as Tan doesn't go and do something stupid in getting rid of Malky. We have the quality to stay up and finish around 13th, the players just need to believe in themselves and get their foot on the ball more. Back to basics in training.

We're definitely better than at least 3 teams in this division. When you look at the relegation battle, Sunderland and Palace are fucked. Then there's us, Norwich, Fulham, Villa, Newcastle, and maybe Hull and West Ham. I think we'll be fine

agree annis got to be beating teams like norwich ,very poor game today ,where are we going to get goals from ?

For me, the only real concern I've got coming out of this game is that Campbell is not looking good at all. If we are going to play with this formation in every game, which is how it looks, we need someone with more pace as Campbell is getting beaten to every ball he's chasing. And Kim REALLY needs to improve his shooting if he's going to continue in that number 10 role, as it's really letting him down so far.

Personally, I just want to see Noone in this team. Yes, he's hit and miss, but he's different to anything else we've got and his pace and dribbling would stun defences like Norwich's. I know he was injured today, but odds are he wouldn't have got on the pitch even if he was fit, which just seems crazy. I love Bellamy, but beyond experience, I can't see what he offers us when he comes on that Noone wouldn't. Hell, try changing Noone's game and play him behind our number 9.

I agree with Annis on this. Where are the goals going to come from? A Corn hopefully which I hope will work... but if not then going away to get draws and hoping to win at home without a strike force is not going to work. Observations today:

Marshall = best GK in the EPL by a mile - says something that our best player is our GK imho

Medel - absolute class and I feel substituting him will get us into trouble e.g Newcastle

Campbell - can score goals but more by luck than judgement in the current set up

Mutch - played well today - will score goals - see Campbell above

Bellers - useful bench backup - nowhere near his best

Odemwingie - able to turn a match on his head but suffering from poor distribution to enable things. See what Snodgrass did today - class player.

Back 4 - immense and lucky today. Actually can't fault the effort but perhaps the pace at times. STOP THE HOOFBALL PLEASE Mr T.

Whitts - kept us in the game defensively - why am I having to say that???? Should be a much more potent weapon in our scoring armoury.

Annis after that onslaught I am ecstatic with a point. Thought we should have lost comfortably. Against these teams around us we need to go out to win these games. Norwich had 31 shots including blocks the most in any premier league game this season. This isn't right! Thank god for David Marshall.

Did we play any differently last year really? We dug out points and got promoted.

His premiership record doesn't back this up. We're going down relying on him to score goals. Great Championship player.

I think what today showed is that we have a premiership goalkeeper but not too many premiership standard outfield players. It was just too easy for Norwich today and we made it easy for them. We very lucky to get away with a point. I always thought this squad might be a little lightweight for the premiership and today just proved it.

When the January window opens Malky needs to buy or loan some quality players. Zaha will be up for grabs on loan, Shane Long is open to offers as is Adebayor. Maybe look at some of the fringe players with Barca & Real Madrid. Now is the time to get looking as we just don't have that cutting edge at the moment and other teams know that.

Get real. 6 pointer. The emphasis was for them to win. Any away point especially against our rivals is good. They as the home side had dropped 2 points. Be realistic everyone. At the start of the season we said that if we were one place off the relegation places we would be happy. Come on everyone. Look at the league table. It's so tight. Malky is doing what he has to do. Don't get above ourselves. Be realistic.

The main thing to remember here guys, is that we are 15th in the league. Yes, we aren't scoring lots of goals, but none of the 5 teams below us have scored more than us, and beyond the Chelsea game, we've barely conceded many either all things considered.

And of the nine teams in the bottom half with us, we've only played three of them, and taken 4 points from the 9 available - that's a good start for a new team in this league.

Surely, the moment we got promoted, everyone realised this would be a battle every week to stay in this league? The first year is about just staying up. We can spend next season planning how we are going to rise up the league. If someone offered me a 17th placed finish right here and now, if bloody take it!
