Seeing as a million jacks lurk on here

What are your honest thoughts on this fella?

I think he looks poor IMO from what I've seen of him looks overweight and very lazy IMO

And does he fit the Swansea way?

Defo not the type of player for you, I'd take Michu in a heartbeat off you lot but you'd have to pay us to take this fella! Adding to above he's always looking for balls over the top not a Swansea philosophy very rarely drops off to create space for anyone in the team and again lolls lethargic when running and generally doing anything

Was he worth the £12m?

Based on the above no, think he'd suit a tony pulis style personally

Re: Wilfred bony

Re: Wilfred bony

Thu Oct 24, 2013 7:52 pm

People said the same about Jason Scotland and Lee Trundle and both are some of the greatest swansea goalscorers of all time.

He's bound to be good then, if someone said the same about them then.

Not doing well today - and interesting how the domination in possession has led to fewer shots than the opponents.

Irrelevant. If he scores regularly then hes worth it, if he doesnt then he probably isnt. So far he has 6 in 8 starts (3 sub).

I was a big fan of Bony when he was with Vitesse but he does look a little heavy and lazy.

Not irrelevant. You'd expect far more for Bony (a supposed 13m striker) than Trundle (a fat prick). He's scored 2 goals in 7 PL games so far (the PL is where he's really judged, not against teams like St Gallen). That's not good enough for a 13m striker, and from what I've seen of him, he doesn't offer much else.

Thats like saying you would expect less from michu than shelvey coz shelvey cost £3m more. If Bony has half the impact Trundle had id be a happy man.

If you think 2 premier league goals in 4 starts is bad and all there is to come then fair enough. I disagree.

I think he'll do OK. Won't be a huge flop, but won't set the prem alight. he'll be a 10-15 goal a season man, I think. Well that's going on what I've seen of him at Vitesse and with you lot.

 i saw your post before you deleted it so it will still go down as another prized plonker post

Alan Tate has played in goals for us on more than one occasion too, doesnt make him a goalkeeper. Giggs has played up front for Man United, hes no striker.

Michu is a central midfielder my son. Now stop digging. :thumbright:
