Red shirts at Chelsea ?

Tue Oct 15, 2013 3:38 pm

Surely very few will have the nerve to wear red at Chelsea .If they do they will be disrespecting over 100 years of tradition and history and showing support for that Malaysian Dictator . Support the team and Malky WEAR BLUE !! :malky: :malky:

Or they'll be showing respect for the team that will be playing in Red/Yellow on Saturday?

You don't have to wear red to show respect to the team. :laughing6:

Although wearing red will be condoning and actively embracing one of Tan's ludicrous decisions.

Predictable response by someone who has obviously no sense of identity ,history or attachment to years of tradition both of success and failure . The red shirts must only be temporary . We fans are forever .

Not that I wear my red shirt often. I don't care, I wear any top at all, any sort of club merchandise whether it be before Tan came in or not etc. I don't wear colours and if I do I wear them under my jacket, what influence does what colour shirt people are wearing have on the players?

I agree, my years of supporting the club are worthless because my life doesn't revolve around football and that I've put things aside and merely gone on with my ways, I don't know about history at all. I've only supported us since Malky took over

Where did I say it had an influence? I don't think it has at all; hence why I said you don't have to wear red to respect the team.

I do feel that anyone wearing a red shirt with Malaysia plastered all over it at their own free will, is someone who is actively endorsing & embracing another of Tan's ludicrous decisions whilst in charge of CCFC.

Exactly, I didn't say you had to either. But the people that do will feel they want to back the team. I don't care who wears what in all honesty, might turn up in a onesie, keep me warm x

Your thoughts and opinion Clarkey, I guess I condone Tan's actions in a way but I wouldn't say I'm a sellout or a minion, just someone whose laidback

If you happily wear one of tan's rebrand shirts, then you are embracing his choices - that's how I see it.

No it isn't. It's supporting CCFC. I wear blue yes, as that is the true colours of a Cardiff City. Can't fathom why any grown man would wear a red rebrand shirt, personally.

I for one wont be wearing a red football shirt. Or a blue one. Or a yellow one.
Because I am a grown up.

People will wear what they want, get over it. They can support the club just as well in any coloured top.

He clearly gets upset at Cardiff fans wearing blue... Hence him bribing City fans to wear red scarves & also him telling supporters at the end of season dinner that they should wear red.
