Kenny Daglish has his say on events at Cardiff City

Sat Oct 12, 2013 9:44 am

Taken from today's Daily Mirror, Kenny Daglish wrote about Malky Mackay and Craig Bellamy.

Malky Mackay deserves more respect

Why would anyone, let alone the club's owner, want Malky Mackay to leave Cardiff City? Why would anyone want him to go after everything he has achieved there?

I don't know what is going on behind the scenes at the club but I do know that in recent years, they have got to the Carling Cup Final, won promotion and begun to establish themselves in the Premier League.

There can't be much wrong with what Malky and the people around him have been doing when you look at that list.

If Cardiff's owner, Vincent Tan, wants to mess with all that, it's his club so it's up to him. But it seems like a real shame.

In praise of Craig Bellamy

Craig Bellamy is a little bit old-fashioned in some ways. At a time when some players were finding excuses not to play for their country, Craig was always passionate about playing for Wales.

He has announced he is about to retire from international football now and he has been a tremendous servant to Wales. He should be proud of what he has achieved.

Because of the hunger he has for the game, because of the mistakes he has made, because of how hard he has worked, because of his awareness of the importance of looking after yourself physically, because of his knowledge of the game, he may be retiring for Wales but he is going to play an important role in football for a long time.

Tan should take note.

Well I wouldn't want him applying for the new head of recruitment role. You know the guy who spent 20m on Henderson, 15m on Downing, 35m on Carroll.

Let's hope so mate. Dalglish is a legend and when they won the Carling, you could see the impression City had made on him from his immediate post-match response, which was of relief, as he really knew that the wrong teams name was on the cup. I hope that credible criticism of this crazy situation from trusted sources resonate with Tan and the board ahead of this board meeting on Monday. Sort it out now and let's get on with the pressing matter of football.

Completely off thread but Susanna Reid's bangers tonight on Strictly were truly things of beauty. She also has a 'pear' shaped bottom. And I love pears.

Your right mate. Tess Daley would suck on my ball-sack as I muntered Reid's clacker before finally man-fatting on Darcy Busells pip-tits. Bruce would then shout 'Good Game' as I insulted the poofs while wiping my cock on Len's dressing room curtains. 'Seven!'.

A lot of respect for him, one of the greatest in British football, even if most of his career was before my time.

Have to agree with the above on overspending though ;)

As I left Len's dressing room, the bint from Countdown would invite me into her room where as a result, her 'Conundrum' would subsequently require stitches. Later in the week, she would later thank me and invite me for the 'second round'. Clacker Countdown. Muwahahahaha.

one quote by Daglish that I will take notice of and thats 'I dont know what is going on behind the scenes at the club' and with that in mind despite all the respect I give Kenny he hasnt got a clue about what hes talking about because nobody does outside of our club does. So makes his opinion null and void however well written.

well he did do a good job, but do you know 100% why he got sacked/suspended whatever you want to call it? no didnt think so and until we do I will reserve judgement. Moody may have been taking bungs he may not have done anything wrong and Tan doesnt like him, he may have just simply overspent and Tan considers it unprofessional. Either way nothing in either article is worrying me because its all speculation

Didn't give an opinion at all, just shared a link to an inside comment with you because you seem to give them more credence.

Willing to speculate on you being a bit tetchy on the subject though.

The fact that an member of staff, who is a "huge loss" (Bellamy's words) has been replaced by the owner & not the manager & has absolutely no experience in football apart from painting a few stadium Walls, doesn't "worry you" is absolutely ridiculous.

No speculation in that.. It's all fact, confirmed by the club.

everything that my post mentioned.

we all know he was good at the job thats why he got it in the first place

shame the same cannot be said for the current incumbent eh? Although, as you say, you aren't worried that a painter now has his job.

and please dont presume to tell me what to find ridiculous and what not too and either way I havent mentioned the Kazach

the fact that "nothing is worrying" you, I find totally ridiculous... Not at all surprising though.

your ignorance and defiance that you know everything about everything running through again

congratulations

all you have confirmed is a player liked him big wow

on a temporary basis outside a transfer window with a fully functioning scouting network no not really, the club will find a more suitable candidate on a permanent basis I have no doubt, but then you couldnt answer that the other day

I dont hold a lot of worry over temporary people they tend to not get trusted with a lot of things, fact is hes head of recruitment when we are not recruiting, but then you ignored that as well

again

this isnt the point im making, good job or bad job Moody got sacked and is now no longer employed but nobody has yet to confirm why. My point is one you continually ignore because it doesnt suit your 'knowledge' on the subject and continue to belittle me in an attempt to avoid my questions

You don't like assumptions/gossip & prefer official statements, but when it suits your agenda - you like to make assumptions yourself?!

 another fine example of your incredible hypocrisy.

Is this a fact that you confirm via club statement? Or are you just assuming that the club will find a more suitable replacement?!

That, is a massive assumption... Which is something you were getting all upset about the other day, when it didn't suit your agenda.
