and it won't surprise me.
I really can't see him wanting to stay after this episode. As fans do we blame him. Well I for one would not. Actually I will go further as I hope he hangs around just for the compensation and I hope he gets its. Lets face it how many of us would bet that is exactly why he is about still.
The last 2 home games I have noticed a change in Malky. A change in attitude that made him a fans favourite. Where has the fist clutch gone. Malky do the Ayatollah, anyone noticed its getting hard work to get him to do that? The Tottenham game he did not exactly hang around like he usually does win or lose. Strange behaviour for the Malky we know but are we surprised now?
I would like to know what has gone on since this painter got his promotion. It is coming over to me this was done to get at Malky. Something has gone on before hand and it would not surprise me if Simon Lim is involved. This sort of thing does the chairman and manager.
Rumours are that Lim was telling Malky what to do during the games. From my experience working amongst this sort of culture it would not surprise me. Lim might have been doing Tans dirty work or he took it upon himself to tell Malky how it is. Can't really say for sure but it just would not surprise me.
Malky walked from Watford because his management of the team was being underminded. Although the undermining is a different style here something tells me the powers to be are butting in on the football and the appointment of the decoration is a childish way of going about it.
Good luck with everything Malky. It wont be long before you are back in the game.

Ian, There have been no phone texts as one paper reported but I believe Tan has sent messages down to Malky, up to 10 during a game, also Malky has asked Tan to leave him alone in the dressing room and instead I have heard Simon Lim then has been then coming down which did upset Malky.
The Truth will all come out.

Would you just walk and lose a £1mill no matter how much pride you had? I honestly can not see it working between them for long.

I think he is referring to the misleading heading of this post.

Can somebody change the title of the thread to something like, "I can see Malky walking!"
Fri Oct 11, 2013 6:30 pm
Change the bloody title

Malky has always known that Tan is a certified, irrational fruitcake so I doubt this comes as a particular shock to him. Around the time of the Everton links, Malky renogiated a new deal. I can tell you first hand that a pay rise wasnt the important issue. It was the clause he made sure was added. He knew Tan was a basket case and could lose the plot at any time
The figure Tan would have to pay Malky is quite rightly a very lucrative one. Malky won't walk as he'd lose the lot, but if another club came in and matched the package then I've got no doubt we'll be looking for a new manager. The damage is done though but for the time being I've got no doubts that Malky will carry on in his usual impeccably professional manner

It would be a nightmare to lose Malky because Tan has lost the f*cking plot

In fairness you can understand his frustration with Malkys subs or lack of but it's really not his place to make decisions like that he has employees Malky to do a job and should let him do it.
Malky could have gone to Everton if he had the chance, I don't think he has any real loyalty to us tbh.
Fans are fickle, if malky is replaced with a name manager who is 'better' things will be forgotten easily.
I personally hope Malky stays but I can see him going sooner rather than later.

He knew all along something like this was possible. Malky has no intention of walking yet though.

Some people are so two faced last week they wanted Malky out now he's God ( I'm not talking about those who've commented so far)

If he goes he goes, no ones bigger than the club, bar the rich benefactor who owns it

I wish I could text Malky sometimes my ideas for subs and the team.

He would want Dandos opinion as well.

Malky does the punch at home when we win, so not surprising we haven't seen it the last 2 games

That just does not surprise me at all.
Also I feel that Malky has served his purpose with the club. Well that's what I feel the Malaysians are thinking. Is Malky good enough to take us further? I don't think the Malaysians think so.

Someone who's opinion Tan respects may have told him all the best managers are foreign.Seems all the rage at the moment.
Fri Oct 11, 2013 9:22 pm
God this thread is a depressing read. Because you all could well be right.
Malky could, and has the potential to, end up proving himself to be one of Britain's very best managers in time to come. I always wanted this to be proved with his journey with Cardiff. The odds of that happening are a lot less now.
Malky is a rare breed who puts the long term interests of his club before his career which makes him a rare breed. It's looking like the Tan entourage don't have the vision or the intelligence to appreciate what they have.
The fact is, the only person who should have the last say to sack any of the club staff should be the manager. (At least at a well run club).
I have quietly had a lot of faith in Tan in the past and always gave him the benefit of the doubt. I'm starting to think my judgement has been off. This latest embarrassment could be a watershed moment for Tan's reign and public perception. At times I wonder is he being controversial to get attention and aide his business interests? But behaving like a 'fruitcake' can't be doing him any good. He needs to surround himself with more credible minds, not 'yes men' who just want to be around his money.

Nobody knows sod all and yet the amount of complete shite being spouted is unbelievable.
Have any of you shitstirers thought yet that perhaps Moody was right to be sacked/suspended? Do any of you actually know what he's done? No. Perhaps Tan had no option? Perhaps MM himself was party to it. Not heard MM defending him?
What also bugs me is the amount of stick this poor bugger is getting for landing the role. Albeit temporary.
He's only 23 I tell you. No football experience. He was painting last week. He's friends with Tan's son!!!! What the f**k! Painting last week... Good on him for getting his hands dirty and mucking in. He might actually be bloody good at analysing data and performance details. The film Moneyball comes to mind. Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill. A true story.
The young man deserves a chance to prove his worth. Either way MM will always make the final decision before looking at a player.
This rubbish about Tan and now Lim telling MM what to do during games. Bollocks. Do you really think MM would put up with that? No me neither. Tan has spent shit loads on getting this team where it is today. I'm pleased he's showing passion for the team. If I was the owner, I'd be f*cking screaming at that defensive minded Scottish fist pumping tart and telling him to order the team to bloody shoot and have a f*cking go.
Now there's a rumour for you.

Well Malky can hardly tell him to stop interfering with what he owns can he? I can't stand my boss but I'll bend over backwards to keep him happy so I can keep my job, and malky's getting a lot more than I am

Your missing the whole point Tim.
If Moody was not replaced by a 23 year old painter then all this rumour flying would have not happened.

I firmly believe MM is his own man. He's strong enough to lead this team to where our owner and us fans want it to be.
Along the way he'll have to take it on the chin from Tan if the team under performs just like you or I do from our bosses if we do not perform well.
MM won't leave us until his stock value has gone up. If he was to hack it in now, he'd be classed as not up to Premiership standard. Besides, he'd be shooting himself financially too. Ain't gonna happen.
Tan will have to pay him off. If we are mixing it around the bottom at Xmas, then like Atkins at Southampton, I reckon he'll have the chop and. Foreign national 'name' will come in. Klinsman or suchlike.
Never boring with City though is it....

Malky would never just walk as that would mean tan wouldn't have to pay him!

I am not really comfortable with the thought that Malky is not happy and only staying as he doesn't want to lose a big pay out. Didn't save jones get slaughtered for that reason by a lot on this board.

No one wants Malky to go. Jones it was a different case.

My point is I don't want our manager just to stay in position just for financial reasons, being manager of Cardiff city is an honour. I don't think Malky is staying just because of the money, malkys merits are that he is honourable and proud, if he was that unhappy I think he would of resigned , just as he seems a man of principle. A lot of stirring going on.

Malky walked from Watford becausr we quadrupled his wages
