As for Craig, if he is guilty of a stackable offence, then fine (you've got to question why the gardening leave & no suspension and sack though...)
More worrying is the replacement drafted in by Tan.

All large business have disciplinary procedures. If Moody has done something wrong then an investigation will take place where relevant evidence is brought forward and a hearing takes place. Usually no more than 7 days after suspension, although this can be extended. Gardening leave is basically suspension but not so formal sounding.

I'm well aware of that. From what I understand, he has withdrawn the suspension & placed him on leave instead. That points to me that it's not a disciplinary situation.
Putting that to one side, to place who he has done instead is crazy. Nothing official, but it seems a done deal. I can't see why you continually try to justify Tan's decisions though.
Each to their own I suppose.

As for the moody situation i used the word IF, therefore its a hypothetical situation.

Until the truth comes out I wont pass judgement on Moody's "gardening leave"
If the apparent new scout is true (again nothing official) then thats bonkers. I would say we should demand answers, but with any business the owner makes decisions and doesnt have to justify them.

Thats fair statement Craig and if he has done something illegal then obviously he has to be brought to justice but from the conversation ive just had it would appear its more a case of the Malaysians not having a clue what they are doing.
Agree with you on business owner not having to explain his reasons as it goes. As in most business if you make decisions and alienate customers you just lose those customers. Until Tan starts losing customers then he will carry on regardless.

Because he only left in the summer and knows Iain Moody and Malky very wellAlso, having worked for City for 15 years and still living in this area I suggest he still has close friends in the club.
Besides, where have I said anything that he confirmed about the present situation? Enlighten me?
I said he explained to me what Iain Moody did and how important he was to Malky and this football club and how he was shocked by the decision, but knowing the way the Malaysians operate, not really suprised.

So he knows nothing, just that the people who own the club make their own decisions and don't have to justify them to anyone.
