Ridiculous story. Tan maybe crazy but hes not that crazy.
In his only "quotes" on the subject he just wants to stay in the PL and finish as high up as possible.

Annis that's very correct. He was totally livid. He was furious.
I was driving that day and the West Ham fans were pissing themselves as Tans actions and mood.
It left the British members of the Cardiff City Board bewildered too and wandering around like soulless sheep.

This is the problem Tan cant take defeat, we all dont like losing but Tan believes his power and his money gives him the divine right to win everything in life at all costs.

Seems like the media are making it up as they go along. Ofcourse tan wants results. Hes got a massive investment in us getting results. But not even he expects us to finnish in the top4 ffs

This involved potential players being scouted, then a dossier being compiled by Ian Moody, then Malky inspecting the player and dossier before Vincent Tan being given ALL THE DETAILS before a yes or no decision was made by VT. Now were led to believe that a billionaire can't add up transfer fees for a few players and realise we're overspending the budget. No way, as I stated on an earlier post about 'there is no such thing as bad publicity', I think this is all to do with marketing the club for flotation on the stock exchange.

I too don't believe this 15m overspending. The Independent did a piece the other night about all our summer signings not having Malky's name or Moody's name on the players contracts, it was Simon Lim's name on the contracts. I have no proof of this apart from the Independent story, but if true, for Malky to be blamed when Simon Lim agreed to put his name to the players contracts to authorise the signings is bizarre to say the least. Surely if Tan thought we were paying too much, Lim wouldn't have been allowed to put his name to the contracts? Tan pulled the plug on the Wanyama deal after all as he thought Southampton were asking too much for him!
Something else I have been told which I'm unsure is 100% true or not, is that Tan thought the fees we paid for players this summer INCLUDED the wages, bonuses etc all as one package! This probably led to the players bonuses row. Can anyone confirm it's correct Tan did indeed think the transfer fees included the players wages, bonuses etc? There's a lot of nonsense in the press but as Tan knows nothing about football, none of this would surprise me if true!
