Because Jon Candy of Bluebirds Unite were not happy as the the statement made, apparently was not from them.

Not at all. I think it was the perfect number, as the meeting in the Corp proved, if you've got 700 you can't discuss anything. 50 is a good number for debate, open forum, discuss ideas.

It was an open meeting for all bu members from what I gather. Some couldn't make it and some could. Simple.

It was a good meeting, not as many people as at previous meetings as was pointed out in the other thread but in my opinion was the most constructive so far. It was a 90 minute general discussion around potential plans and ideas on the way forward

Some say 100 but to me it looks about 30 was it a private meeting or public ?

I posted yesterday about this subject and the fact it was an open meeting advertised for as many members of Bu to turn up and voice their opinion and only about 40 at best turned up must be very worrying indeed for the Bu leadership.

Also what's worrying is joncandys attempt at trying to censor it's membership .A classic case of the leadership pushing the panic button and now adopting a siege mentality .

People criticise BU when they allowed anyone to post anything on their site & now they criticise BU for trying to get some sort of order on it.

Why don't you add Jon's reply to the question on the BU page? Doesn't suit your agenda though, does it?!

You said nothing wrong as such mate

The issue was because you were copying Sian's comments directly without saying they were not yours, some people assumed you were Sian.

You then react to other posters, others still think it's Sian saying these things

Just a question, I'm not having a dig here, I know your goal and totally agree with it

But how do you plan to achieve it at this stage? Any plans? If you prefer not to divulge fair enough!
