. . . Swansea's latest ticket offer for supporters

Swans fans travelling to the club’s away fixture against Southampton will eat for FREE and we will have a special offer for every single away game this season..!

Swansea City are delighted to announce that supporters travelling to Southampton, on October 6, will receive a free hot meal, paid for by the club, at St. Mary's Stadium.

Following three previous promotions – featuring ticket discount, free merchandise and subsidised coach travel – the club will also be providing free coaches for supporters when the Swans take on Cardiff at the Cardiff City Stadium, in November.

As the fixture against Cardiff is a ‘bubble match’, all fans must make the journey by official coaches.

The Swans continue to work hard, along with fellow Premier League clubs, to make away days a cheaper experience for supporters who journey all over the country to cheer on Michael Laudrup's side.

Swans Vice-Chairman Leigh Dineen and Supporters Trust Director Huw Cooze have been working together to help provide a better away-day experience for travelling fans.

They said: “Food prices and travel are yet another expense for away supporters so we wanted to make this our focus. We see every offer and promotion as a token of our appreciation for their support.”

As a sincere thank you for the loyal support of the fans, we will have a special offer for every single away game this season.

Tickets for Swansea's trip to Southampton will go on sale from Monday, September 16.

The promotional offer will be available until Thursday, October 3. Any tickets purchased after that date will not include the meal deal vouchers.

What is your club doing with the money they've been given. Straight into Tan's pocket I suspect!

Brilliant gesture. We give quality service to the away fans who visit here but it would be nice to be rewarded by the club as an away supporter for our continued support, not that it's expected from our club but still.

No, it goes into the Kenny Rogers Roasters Free-Hot-Food-For-Jacks Fund. Enjoy your hot chicken dinner, Ratty.

Clearly, you don't know what Tan has done with the £200k designated for away cardiff fans, then. We've had something for both away matches so far. What have you had?

You appear to completely miss the point. Cardiff, like the other 19 PL clubs, has been given £200k by the PL to spend on making away travel a more pleasurable experience. Liverpool's Spirit of Shankly website gives full details. Liverpool are reducing the cost of away tickets, Stoke and Chelsea are subsidising away travel etc etc. what are Cardiff doing with their money? Perhaps someone should ask!

I don't give a shit how away fans are treated her, this Jack has a point. If we have been allocated money I'd like to hear from the Trust/Supporting Liason Officer how that money will be spent, all we've had is free pies from Peters Pies on the website. The same as usual. I would rather the club allow hot food for us like Swansea are doing or free flags or something, subsdidised travel.

That's all an illusion, Swansea just can't sell tickets :old:

All jokes aside, we've only played 1 away game so far, we have another 18 to go so give us a chance :ayatollah:

I have just emailed Julian Jenkins to suggest that it would be both prudent and eminently sensible that we spend this money on booze, drugs and whores. Fingers crossed.

Apparently, for last seasons Brighton game, the away staff wore pink feather boas and leather arseless chaps. I dread to think what the 'local brew' was.

At last - some sense. Stop trying to score stupid points off me and ask where the money is! I know you've only had one away game so far but what did you get for that? What have you got for the Hull game (apart from Peter's pies which are not via this initiative). To date we've had travel vouchers, scarves, half price tickets for adults with kids for the next away game and food for the Southampton game. All clubs should be doing this. It's YOUR money!
