Who would you choose to play on Saturday against Hull to keep our unbeaten run going
I would go for
--------------------------Marshall-----------------------
Connolly ----------Caulker----Turner-----------Taylor
----------------------------Medel------------------------
-------------------------Gunnarsson--------------------
Odemwingie------------------------------Whittingham
----------------------------Kimbo------------------------
--------------------------Campbell-----------------------
A line up that can go from 4-1-3-1-1 to 4-4-2 to 4-3-3 or 4-5-1, its got pace with Odemwingie out wide or can push up to support Campbell, got creativity with Kimbo, Whitts and Odemwingie, box to box with Gunnarsson and ball winner in Medel and Gunnarsson.
I ddn't go for Theopile as I dont know anything about him so stuck with Connolly after our last two performances
Bellamy, Maynard, Cornelius, Hudson, Cowie, Mutch on the bench along with Lewis.

Good shout Carl but I would still start Bellamy in place of Oderwinge (spelling!!!!) as we need his experience. We need to protect our full backs first before attacking them. I agree with the rest and the bench but cannot see how and when Noone will get his chance at present.

Yeah pretty good shout I do feel sorry for bellers his heart is there and bigger than anyone's just not sure his legs can last it still an amazing player to come off the bench always will be a game changer!!!

Nearly spot on that in my opinion. Connolly is the weak link so would swap him for Theopile or Brayford to add more pace and attacking outlet down the right. Bellers will struggle to start after two games with Wales so get Odemwingie in.
Oh and Son of Malky would never be in my 18- out of his depth big time!

I know nothing of Theophile so cannot pick him in my side but Brayford just doesn't seemed to have settled in as well as we thought so I think Connolly deserves to hold the position though I do think he is just one poor performance from facing the chop.

Hudson along with Marshall was our best players last year. He still gets the my nod over Turner.
Connolly is not a right back and would be replaced with either Brayford or the new French Theo guy.
Still maybe a little early for Odemwingie and maybe rest Bellers and replace with Noone.

I would go for the same team as Carl - hopefully we won't be as conservative against Hull as we have been in our last few games. Let's get down their throats!

If we had gone up when we should have, Dave Jones era, Bellamy would be looking at his 100 appearance with us by now.
I feel he could be achieving that this season. Odemwingie has only just got the edge over him. A slight hick up and Bellamy will be first choice.

We have to get 3pts from this game

I think a point would be a decent result. I actually fancy us more against Spurs. They dont create many chances and unless their new players gel quick I think we'll get something from them

If the son of malky wasnt anywhere near the 25 man squad, or even the bench, we would never scored the 3 against man city, that was his cross and a very good one. for me he has to be on bench, good player to bring on for last 10 mins to slow the game down etc, could say the same about mutch but for me hes to attacking at times,

Marshall
Brayford caulker turner taylor
Medel
Gunnerson whittingham
Odemwingie kimbo
Cambell
Tue Sep 10, 2013 10:14 am
I would drop whitts for mutch as he is playing too deep and doesn't offer enough in defence
Tue Sep 10, 2013 10:22 am
Also agree that Bellamy is likely to need a rest but guess it depends on how long Coleman wastes his energy for tonight. Think Carl's line up offers us more pace up front with Odemwingie supporting Campbell, agree that Connolly deserves a start but also agree there is a case for Mutch replacing Whitts as he still doesn't look at his best again to me.
Heard that Noone may be going back to Brighton on loan and Conway to Birmingham - not sure how true those rumours are, but wouldn't be surprised if both happened.
Tue Sep 10, 2013 10:54 am
-Marshall
-Connolly
-Caulker
-Turner
-Taylor
-Medel
-Whitts

I think people are underestimating Hull, yes for us its a game we should be looking to get 3points from but Hull will be thinking exactly the same especially at home.
Tue Sep 10, 2013 2:04 pm
If bellamy plays a full game tonight, I would put him on the bench for Hull. Bring in Odemwingie for Bellamy. Otherwise same as last time. Theopile on the bench. Tada...three points, thank you very much. Think it will be a draw though. 1 v 1.
