I cannot believe it has been 2 years since that terrible day when we lost Mikey.
An unbelievable character who got on with anyone and everyone. A very close friend to many, A Father, Husband and Legend.
You will NEVER be forgotten my friend, nothing has been the same since and never will be.
Im sure your making the big fella upstairs laugh his head off with those awful jokes you used to tell but in such a way you would tell them we would be rolling round laughing like mad!
Not a day goes by your not thought of, always in our hearts MJD
Until we meet again Sir....

Nobody should go to a football match and not come home. Such a tragedy.

Never forgotten.
The funeral was incredibly moving and hundreds attended - most of them outside, because they couldn't get in, the place was packed out.
Still hurts and still can't quite believe it. I always had a lot of time for Millbank and still do. A great bunch. I took the photo in my avatar at Burnley when I was with some of them.
Rest in peace, MJD.
Sadly missed by so many.

RIP Mikey.

RIP.
Never met the guy but I remember the tribute paid to him at the first CCFC home game after his death - during the game I was stood in front of a bunch of lads (quite likely a few lads from this forum) who were singing their heads off for him and were obviously close friends of his.
Someone else said it - nobody should go to a football game and never return.
