Yeah thats incredibly annoying, some idiot stood in the doorway smoking when they're meant to be a certain distance away or whatever it is so the smoke doesn't blow/ drift into the place

I smoke when drinking, when I'm not having a couple of pints I hate it.

Groups of obviously sick people, some pregnant, stood outside hospital doors smoking. always saddens me.

Seems odd banning those I they help people quit quite efectively.

I think smokers should get id cards so that they can be identified, and then it should be made ilegal for anyone without the id cards to buy cigerettes. Smokers should have three months to decide if they want the Id card.Anybody caught smoking without an id card should be fined heavily and sent to prison if caught again. Within about 30 years all smokers would have died out or be too ashamed to carry on. We could then put the whole sorry episode behind us.

We need to seperate being hooked on nicotine away from basic human rights. Its like saying im hooked on driving my motorbike a hundred miles an hour so I should be allowed to, sure its addictive, and perhaps enjoyable, but its dumb, and I could hurt myself and others around me, therefore I should be stopped from doing it!
