Cardiff City today announced that Steven Caulker has been called up for next weeks England Squad.

CardiffCity centre-back Steven Caulker has tonight been called up by the @FA to join up with the senior England squad


England have called up Cardiff City defender Steven Caulker following the withdrawal of three players from Roy Hodgson's squad due to injury.

The Bluebirds defender has one England cap to his name, having started and scored against Sweden in 2012.

Manchester United pair Wayne Rooney and Phil Jones have both left the squad.

Liverpool full back Glen Johnson has also withdrawn following his side's win over United at Anfield.

Hodgson's England squad meet at St. George's Park tomorrow, ahead of their World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine.
