"you know" has to be the most used phrase in footballer's interviews. Or "look" in Bellamy's case...

Was the most active player on the pitch.
When you consider the value of some of the players on that pitch that's not bad for a local boy.

As Souness just said hes meant to be an attacking midfielder and scored only 1 in 36 last season.

I think Souey knows a thing or two about playing centre mid as well.

He's not exactly had a run in the team as an attacking midfielder though be fair to him.

He was pushed out wide right for much of last year and he's been playing as a deeper midfielder this year and still managed to get 3 goals.

Capoue was bossing midfield until he went off injured.

Stop talking shit. Was Theo injured for "much of last year"? No. Thats Theos position.

As Souness said he should be double figures. Maybe this year he will finally start acheiving his potential.

He was pushed out wide last season (left I think).

He is more central this season it's showing in his performances.

Theo wasn't played at the beginning of last season because of the contract dispute!

And remember after he started playing again he demanded to play as a central striker.

It's like you don't even pay attention some of the time

That's correct mate Walcott was playing up front allot of the time and Ramsey was out wide for allot of last season hence why he wasn't as effective!! :ayatollah:

Why does he need double figures tho? Hes not a striker, His work rates class, When hes bossing the midfield like that the guy doesn't need goals, Although i think he will score a few this season

Capoue was bossing Ramsey until he went off.

As for Theo he made nearly 50 games last year but was out much of the time

Maybe but thats not saying theo wasnt playing uptop with him also!

From what I can remember on motd they constantly mentioned theo getting his wish and playing a more central attacking role!!

Arsenal do NOT play 2 up top mun. Theo threw his toys out of pram around December / January, had a few games up top, signed his contract, chucked back on wing
I remember Ramsey playing left of a diamond 4 but never on the wing.
Either way I agree with Souness to be a top attacking midfielder he needs to be getting double figures.
Gerrard, Lampard, Toure, Scholes, etc Some of the top midfielders in this country last 10 years

All can do what Ramsey does and get 15-20 goals

I don't know how old any posters on here are, but would ask them, if you were 20 years old and had your leg snapped in half, would you have the bottle to ever even step foot on a pitch again? I wouldn't.
