Why mention the dragons at all he said our nickname would remain the bluebirds?

wasnt that the compromise (a very small one) to his original pkans of changing us to red and calling us the dragons?

I think it's pretty obvious Tan wants the dragon to be the main symbol, well it is the main symbol on our crest.
People have moaned about the fact Ali doesn't mention bluebirds enough so if it'd a compromise to mention both so be it.
