If it is true and it is the Everton game, get volunteers to hand out blue cards before the game

Who cares?

Just dont hold them up if you dont want. Although I suspect many many would.

That is why we care Craig because plenty of people will.

If it was going to happen it'd happen tomorrow. Everton is on Setanta Sports, that's all.

Least the referee wouldn't have to worry about forgetting his cards

It wouldn't be for their benefit Gwyn

Like when Man Utd and Liverpool come to the CCS, I don't think their teams will be inspired because they see red shirts in the home end.

If it is true, I for one will wave the card with pride to support the team and that's my choice. After all it isn't compulsory.

There is one in the corner above the away fans where the old giant screen was and another in the corner of the Ninian and Canton :ayatollah:

I doubt very much that this is true if so, it is just as bad as the BU nagging people to wear blue, getting pissed off with both sides, :sleepy2:

If they do it will be a massive flop, most will throw them away or rip them up....

I don't think most would throw them or rip them up, I think most, like with the scarves at the Brighton game, would hold them up.

If they hold them up then they hold them up. It is a stunt same as when BU used the online petition as justification for a celebration protest march.

The fact is there is a huge middle ground of fans who really don't care one way or the other and will hold up the cards, not because they support the rebrand, but because they are free and they are just copying what everyone else is doing.

What i witnessed last season before the BHA game when they were giving out the red scarves was unbelievable.
I got to the ground late that night, most of the scarves were gone, but there was a frenzy, like starving people after the last loaf of bread, for any that were left, & i mean anyone, young & old.

Yes, think there's more Welsh flags or the same as there was originally but it's about the same size as the Malaysia flags now :ayatollah:

I say let him do that. Scarfs ended up a massive own goal in the end. When he has tried to stuff his red shit down our throats it has back fired. And it will again.

Human nature. I also arrived late and there were only a few left and I scrabbled to get one of the few that were left. They were free and whatever you think of the rebrand they are now part of our history, if NOT tradition (my opinion only)

I have never worn it since but it is filed away with all sorts of other Cardiff City related souvenir's

I know we both come at this rebrand thing from opposite viewpoints but is some ways you think the same as me. I say let him stuff the red shit down our throats whilst paying off the debts and making us an established top flight team.

Not saying its a massive own goal, but one day we will be blue again ;)

Part of our history and tradition my arse. Tony you might have earned our repect if you had just not taken the scarf but I suppose for you its like having that cream cake when you know you should be on that diet.

Thats the relevant point i was making Tony. I also got one that night, for one reason & one reason only, that my son wanted one, who lives four hundred miles away.

The things we do for our kids, eh!
