Alfreð Finnbogason

Apparently we have been monitoring him and now we're in for him. He's available for around 3-4m because of his clubs terrible financial state. His finishing is easily PL class.

Whose said this? I'd cream if we got him

Funny enough mentioned him not long before you posted that, got 4 in 5 already in his second season.

Altidore looked a unit in the game v Fulham and looked promising.

Bony looks like he could do some damage.

Don't see why not. :ayatollah:

Yep, that was the guy. Seems to know a lot about the ongoings with us and Scandanavians. He knew about Cornelius very early on too.

Weve been monitoring him for a while now, his finishing is deadly, Lazio and Napoli are also interested in him, 4-5 million would be the price, sign him up Malkay. :malky:

Cracking player.

Scored some very important goals against some top teams for Heerenveen!

Hopefully Gunnar can have a word with him for us :malky:

I think the fact we have Gunnarsson who he's big friends with may help. :ayatollah:

Would be a great signing this... Trouble is though we need to sign wingers to create chances for our strikers

Brilliant, I do remember him mentioning about him etc, plus he even said about Cornelius and Heidar's retirement so if we are going in for him it'll be brilliant, just the striker we need! Hes close mates with Gunnar and was at the Forest and Charlton match if I'm not mistaken

Yes he was at both of those matches as a guest of Gunnar.

Strange that we initially rejected him because he's too slow for the Premier League but are now back in for him. Hope we can sign him as it would show some statement of intent

Either we have missed out on another target, or Malky has watched him a bit more and realised that he is good enough for the PL. He'd be worth it imo.

The same guy who said we're tracking him, we were tracking him then didn't feel he'd match the pace of the PL but are suddenly back in for him

The Alfred Finnbogason rumour is gathering pace. Serpico on ccmb mentioned this the other day. I'm told there's definite interest. #CCFC

Tony Rivers ‏@TonyRivers1927 13m
Marco Van Basten rates Finnbogason as good as he was at the same age. No finer praise #CCFC

Tony Rivers ‏@TonyRivers1927 1m
@Ross_wil_i_am9 You were spot on about Alfred the Dutchman mate. Looks like the interest is as strong as you said. #CCFC
