What's your prediction Rick and what makes you confident ?

How many times have we been expected to win easily before and fucked it up? I am quietly confident that we are on the other end of that this weekend... but we will probably get smashed

Absolutely not.

I think unrealistically optimistic Cardiff fans will be the only ones who think differently!

I believe that we could snatch a point. BUT in all likelihood they will win.

Carl I believe in MM and his ability to prepare a team to compete in any game against any opposition.

Yes, I believe we can get something out the game. It will be a monumental challenge and we'll need a lot of things to go our way as well as a big slice of luck, but I still think we can get something.

What's your prediction Rick and what makes you confident ?

Just a feeling i got about it Carl. I remember when we played them on an August bank holiday weekend in the 83/84 season, our first season back in the old Second Division under Len Ashurst, we beat them 2-1 (Boden 2). A very hot day, if i remember correctly.

After last weeks performance, & with a bit of tweaking to the starting 11, i think we have a chance, all be it a slim one.

2-1 Cardiff City. I hope history repeats itself!

Who knows, I don't think Man City have beaten us since 1984 (but we have only played them once in that time)

I think we can

They have no fit central defenders
Their captain is injured and will have midfielders in defence
Their manager has never managed away in the prem before ( will he bottle it and change formation )
They have a lot of new players possible intimidation factor if we are loud enough
The history of this fixture is on our side
Our fans will be like a 12th man
They have all the pressure on them
Our main signings are fit and have had time to get to know each other
We learned a harsh lesson last week which won't happen again
Hart will take a hell of a lot of shit in them goals

If our defence holds out and we can score first we could bombard there centre backs with crosses and long balls with kimbo and whitts following up we will have a great chance of nicking something IMO

Never say never in football.

I think their players will suffer from over-confidence. Also our players will feel they have a point to prove after West Ham. Can see us leading 1-0 at HT, then they'll pick up their game and get an equaliser and it will finish 1-1

Predicting a hammering but this would be the biggest scalp that I would have witnessed.
