......Polo you are on the pulse . Even last year although we got promoted the football was safety first it seemed and dire at times. True MM was successful with it and got the job done with promotion. Cannot be faulted on that, but I fear it won't work in the prem. you must play football. The players in the prem are thoroughbred . Faster stronger in mind and body. Hoofball just hands the opposition possession . Man City up next

Tactics were bad today.

I've never criticised Malky but looking at the team today I can say for the first time since he took over that I'm actually worried about a performance. We sat too deep for long periods of the game, allowed the opposition wide players to get in cross after cross. We got away with a lot of things in the Championship that we are going to get punished heavily for at this level.

As soon as i realised that Connolly was starting at right back my heart sank into the floor, this guy doesn't have the pace or the positional awareness to play at right back and was done for the first goal, even McNaughton would have been a better choice.

0 shots on target is quite pathetic and I cringe every time I see Gestede make his way onto the pitch. The players say they do a lot of ball work during training, how is that when all they do is smash it upfield all match long?.

There were no positives from today that i would be happy to acknowledge, there was no fight or closing down of the ball. Cardiff were bullied and out classed and everything that made Cardiff so good last season just seems to have disappeared.

I hope Malky takes a good long look at what he's doing because if we carry on with the performances like today we'll be in trouble very quickly in an unforgiving league.

I would not be surprised if Malky is gone after 6-8 games and thats the God's honest truth. Tan will see results and not care about anything else and results keep us up and us staying up keeps Tan's profit chances higher.

Im not too sure which managers are available out there to replace him at the moment though but I'd guess Tan would want a name who wants to manage a Premier League club.
