Bluebirds chants - Will die out

It will sound rather odd listening to blue chants in the stands from us in a red stadium ( sooner or later) playing in a red kit now in the ccs seems odd but all red seats in years to come would be weird. Deep down we knew this was comming when the news first broke at the end of 2012 season, it was always comming if people are honest with themselves. We let this happen to start with thats the truth so it is what it is.

IMO in years to come that will be gone as once the seats change in the whole ground which they will in a few years surely, the blue feeling will be lost in time for them who go sooner or later after the change kicks in, yes we have passionate fans I'm not doubting that but how can fans feel normal chanting blue chants for a red team in a red ground, makes no sence at all. I can hear it now "We'll always be blue, We'll always be blue" chant going around the ground yet we will be red in a red stadium with a tiny bluebird on the badge for how long who knows, crackers but its comming in the future I think.

Sadly this is true. I feel we are being dismantled in stages and yes in years to come we will have a red stadium and be called either Cardiff Dragons or Cardiff City Dragons.

That will be it then for any new owner coming in will not be British who has cardiff history at heart. It will be another foreigner.

But I will continue to support the management and team because its better than walking away and not having them in my life and I couldn't support another team either. As my daughter would say "that would be wrong on so many levels"

ian,a few months ago i was chatting with ian(bakedalaska) on fb.i said the way things are going in 5yr time if a new chairman arrived and said lets go back to blue i truely believe there would be people moaning saying we are red and should stay red

So you will stop going then i take it if this was to happen in years to come, i suppose by then there will be 1000s of others waiting to snap up our seats eitherway but of course this all depends on prem survival i think

He said chant not song, and it's the chant that I remember since I was a kid. Probably the only one that really meant anything to me. If you ain't heard that, you ain't been to any games.

They will when all the true Cardiff fans stop going or are bred out.

Whats the matter is it killing you so much you have to pass that hurt on by callijng me a liverpool fan YOUR to blame just as much for whats happened and will carry on happening at the club I doubt tans going anywhere for years to come yet.

This - "Bluebirds" will always remain - easier to change the colour of the seats than change the mind of a supporter

A lot of people said the same over the colour and then the same over the badge and now there saying the seats but even when they all change red one day they will say its ok we got our name still for now

So what do you propose to stop them dying out?
