Don't think Sam has anything to do with the recent transfers. Malky has pulled these off, he takes his time with transfers. What could Sam offer anyway, we've got the money, if a player doesn't want to come to us, like Ince or Capoue, then I can't see them being convinced by Sam.

You must be rite, the last two quick transfered players were in the massine line of big name players a few weeks back before sam come back. He's doing nothing at the club for wiping out the debt some believe he's getting a few tickets now and then if there spare

You as well I have no idea who Malky had lined up before Sam came back. And it's very likely that these players that have come in have been on Malky's shortlist for a long time.

We'll probably just have to agree to disagree as I struggle to see what Sam can really bring to the table in terms of transfers. In the past when he brought players in it was the money that helped finalise the deals but he doesn't have control of that now.

Agreed. Frankly it is an insult to Malky and his recruitment/scouting team and all the work they put in.

ITK poster maybe sam has told the inner circle the signings are down to him, just like he didn't tell them how much he had borrowed

power now than it did when Ridsdale gave him the title. Its all about saving face. Massively

All we know about his role is what we've been told and that is he has an Honorary position. I can't for the life of me see Malky letting someone like Sam get involved in his transfers. Sam is known to be an eccentric, the title Life President probably appealed to his ego.

Even if he has been given a bigger role at the club that still doesn't make much sense, would you wipe out £30m of debt as you put it just have a say in a couple transfers at the club. There probably was something else to the debt and the settlement that we don't know about but I don't think Sam has been given any sort of actual responibilties at the club.
