Form is temporary , class is permanent.

Continue to stick it up the haters Whitts :malky:

Agreed. People have always been so quick to doubt him.

Re: Peter Whittingham

No doubt he'll have a big part to play this season.

Re: Peter Whittingham

Keep his confidence up and he will be a star. Weather he starts or not against West ham is another story. :ayatollah:

He'll have more time on the bench to keep him fresh - he looked exhausted at times last year. More quality now in the squad, will help him.

He will start at West Ham NQAT

That ball he swung out to Bellamy on the volley yday was just sublime.

We have medel so hopefully now see whites further forward where he looks more comfortable.

Will be an important player this season imo.

Chris, I am def not a hater of Whits infant when he is on form, Whits is class. I just don't believe he can do it week in week out,def could not in Championship, so can't see it in Prem.
Just my strong opinion.

I don't think anyone hates Whitts.

Some people feel he is not consistent enough, maybe, just maybe, he will be played further forward in the midfield three and we will see a more attack minded and consistent player, I hope so. :ayatollah:

Yeah maybe 'Haters' was a bit strong but I like to exagerate

Been plenty of doubters though which I think is unfair.

His passing is top class and he showed yday what he can do if Malky lets him get forward.

Yes I thought his 2yard passes to put declan john under pressure on numerous occasion s were fu..ing brilliant
Thats just me putting the other side of whitts
Hopefully if whitts starts further up this side of him should disappear :ayatollah:

I agree ,I don't hate Whitts, I think he is class, but so is Kimbo, and he really gets stuck in , Whitts will only do it when the mood takes him. Now Yday he did get stuck in a good few time , why ? cos now we have another yet another Midfielder :-) who really do get stuck in .

Medel Whitts and Kimbo surely are going to be our CM's at West ham

I'm a big fan of Whitts but I noticed that as well. Not a big deal to me but Declan was given very little options at times.
Didnt play quite as well as against Chevio but will probably start against Wet Ham. Hopefully will be a decent stand by this season & also get a few games in to help progress his potential (that's Declan not Whitts!)

Already a legend, played virtually every game since the 09-10 season no surprise he needed a rest at the end of last season.

Nooooooooo! Don't put Kimbo wide he's our best player and that's by a long way he needs to play in his preferred position of a CAM with Medel and Whitts further back. Whitts being the passer and playmaker and Medel being the destroyer.

At home I agree but away from home I think MM will go with gunar and medel.

I dont agree hes our best player by a long way either and its not whats best for Kim its whats best for the team

I agree. Last season we put him out wide away to B'pool and he was very very good. Hit that wonder 40yd pass to Taylor, and we then scored from the chance. He's very versatilve. :ayatollah:

He will find that the Premier League will suit him nicely IMO.

Re: Peter Whittingham

Polo thats the point I was making
Whitts was in a tight spot so passed the buck to an 18 year old novice who was in a worse position than whitts
Whitts was doing this last season aswell with taylor
Watch the games more and you will see how often whitts off loaded
But it made his passing stats look good aswell
Time will tell who, s right
But i hope its you who is right which would mean whitts doing well in premier (but I have my doubts)
