The Jacks are way ahead of us at the moment and the table will show it after 38 games. Be interesting to see the difference after 2 or 3 seasons though.

It sticks in my throat to admit it but while we were treading water under Jones & Ridsdale the Swans stole (no pun intended) a march and made it to the PL.
They have stabilised over the past 2 seasons and had amazing luck by collecting over the top transfer fees for Allan and Sinclair, not to mention compensation for their managers.
When you add that to the TV monies for 2 full seasons it is no wonder they are thriving.
However, they have a glass ceiling and eventually that luck will run out. Spooked by our promotion they have already committed substantial fees/wages on players without any real plan for the future apart from selling Ashley Williams at some stage. That will catch up with them eventually
We also have a risky future plan but if it comes off it will be far more sustainable than hoping someone will buys out your manager or Captain.
That's why I believe we will probably have to put up with Swansea for another season or two but eventually we should gallop off onto far bigger things whilst they slip back to their once a decade Administration status and League 2 football.

We have a natural progression, fuelled by our success on the field and growing reputation in the footballing world, if you think that we have bought players just because you lot have been promoted then your are sadly deluded.
Its you lot who are mortgaging yourselves to the hilt once again, just to try to catch up with us... I can see QPR Mk2 on the horizon![]()
