Stringer Bell wrote:Gestede is absolute quality. Malky, being the genius he is knew Gestede would turn into a Henry/Adebayor hybrid at 27 years of age and signed him up early. Now, like his very own Frankenstein project he'll turn him into an absolute beast who'll rain terror on the Premier League.
Within the next 3 years Gestede will score 10 goals minimum in the Premier League and thats better than Shevchenko (also world class) did in 3 years at Chelsea. (he scored 9). That alone will prove how talented the boy from Benin really is.

Malky is well aware of Rudy's world class potential thanks. He's a proven manager at Championship level so I will take his judgement before yours. Rudy started often from the bench because Malky knew he could bring him on to do the business - he can easily play the role of supersub much like Solskjaer or Sheringham in their prime.

Good for you. I'll take Mackay's judgement too, because if he was as good as you claim he is, he would have featured a lot more than he did.

Why? Malky was saving him for the Premier League. He came on, scored the most important goal of the season vs Leicester (Malky said this himself) and that was business done. That's what Rudy is all about, the business. Why you think he got an energy drink? He knows he's world class but he's a humble lad which is why he don't boast about it.
2 in 3 for Benin as well at International level. Thats a 66.66% strike rate. Most strikers can only dream of that at International level.

Yet, he could hardly get into a championship side that was struggling for strikers.
As I said, if he was as good as you say, he would have started every game. Even a knackered old Helguson was better than him.
