I cant see him doing it tho but if he was too more likely we would be fucked? and he would expect us to repay the loans.

"If I was to leave, I would leave the club in safe hands".

Vincent Tan, during BBC interview.

You all seem so keen to say he's an honest man, who's going to stick to his word regarding debt to equity...

Why don't you trust him on this? :laughing6:

In the financial sense, that i think he would want us to repay those business loans.

He'd sell it to someone else, and the loans would be part of a myriad of financial information.

We wouldn't be fucked. He can't just leave and sell it to no-one!

I was just expecting a bit more in the way of detail, what does 'fucked' actually mean in reality?

Administration then liquidation very sharply I should imagine with no coffers for daily running costs, wages etc etc.

Breaking news! Cardiff fans have been banned from travelling to Liverpool as they were allegedly caught singing "You'll never get a job".

And in other news, Annis lowers the prices in his books. :laughing6:

bollocks, someone will come in very quickly and take it off his hands especially with the additional income from the Premier League now

Re: If Tan was to pull the plug?

If he turned debt to equity before he went - we would be in a terrific position.

If he doesn't and turns us over to a good owner - terrific position again though we would be unattractive with all the debt and almost in the same position as in 2010-2012 with no other alternatives appearing.

Of course, people who appear to be 'good owners' may not be so. Just ask Portsmouth.

Personally, I hope VT has a long and fruitful relationship with the club and that he begins to feel more welcome, as he should having cleared our major outside creditors and brought us into the Premier League for the small price of a different colour shirt as part of a plan to expand the profile of the club and attract further finance from abroad which would pay dividends for CCFC and VT himself it it comes off.
