Sun Jul 28, 2013 7:42 pm

We've had a cider thread, what's everyone's favourite lager?

Peroni and Coors Light but Coors gives me a killer headache.

A nice pint of Stella in the chalice tastes like Christmas in a glass, also have to agree with peroni and the export (always my second choice if I'm getting cans behind Belgiums finest). The 1664 is very nice but gives me a severe thick head in morning.

Innis & Gunn has to be worth a mention. Created by accident!!

Brewed in whiskey barrels giving it an incredible taste and strong as well! Only discovered it since moving up here.

They also make em from rum casks - indeed a fine brew on a hot day

I'm personally a fan of beer from Belgium - the favorites being Martin's pale ale and westmalle dubbel

You bunch of fannies, no one heard of German beer on here :old:

Warsteiner, Bitburger, Veltins was a particular favourite of mine when I lived in Germany.

Get your arse down to Lidl, Perlenbacher, 6 pint bottles for £6, really nice beer, give it a go :malky: :malky: :malky:
