BU is a hindrance for our club imo and gonna make us look embarrassing to the world

The english media dislike us as it is, we'll be labelled as fans against owners and a club in turmoil. We need to be a united club going into premier league.
I respect the view to be in blue and appreciate the strong feelings. But the always be blue songs are a protest song. VT has done a huge amount for our club and rebrand aside surely all fans would rather he stay?
Can't we use the trust, BU and dare i say SH to take a diplomatic approach behind the scenes and leave the songs to support the team??

Amazingly, you can do both things at the same time.![]()
BU are embarrassing? Not as embarrassing as fans who actively wear the red shirt, in my mind.

Good for you. That's the beauty of opinions, everyone has a different one.
I have more respect for a fan who will continue to wear blue and actively get involved in wishing to get it back, than a fan who chooses to wear that monstrous red shirt.
You mention "takes the piss out of or insults other city fans"
Surely that's what this thread is doing, insulting and taking the piss out of other city fans...

Despite the actions of said individual? And when I say actions I appreciate that buying a red shirt is an action which could be deemed disrespectful itself but in reality it isn't. Like you said everyone had the right to an opinion.
I don't care about individuals actions. If you buy the red shirt as an adult, I don't have as much respect for you as I would someone who chooses to fight for our true identity.
The difference is the way you go about letting other people know your opinion.
All I have done is countered yours & other people's opinions with my own.

You dont care for the colour fine, dont chant the song, but stop crying about those of us who want to express our feelings and frustrations through song.
Its a free country wether Tan likes it or not.

Yes but it isn't about you! It's about the members of BU that even other BU members don't want speaking up and letting the side down with their witless comments about 'red knob heads' or car crashes or any other nonsense.
I would love to join BU but I refuse to be associated with a group where a certain element show a lack of reason and understanding which could be detrimental to their own cause. It's just plain daft!
