Luddites - name given to bands of workingmen in the industrial centers of England who rioted between 1811 and 1816 , tidy 1st post, well on this account anyway  -- CCFC :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: THIS IS CARDIFF WALES BOSS. :D

Turncoat?

This is what Bluebirds Unite think of people who just get on with things and have other concerns in their lives to be focusing on. They also think that these turncoats will revert and become members of Bluebirds Unite after being subject to verbal diarrhoea such as this from those that are already members.

You're not going to do any favours for the group labelling sections of the fan base turncoats or sellouts. I'd have thought that would have been quite obvious but evidently it is not and needs to be explained.

Agree, idiotic comments from to many people make people want to distance themselves from this group, same as previous groups.

I try my hardest to want to support this group but I cringe at everything I read (admittedly I read little on it).

The lads from crickhowell brought there flag. Haven't you seen other st David's flags with either Wrexham or Swansea on, or is it just us as we're the proudest welsh men. We've had st David's flags for a number of years.
You could say the same about the wales flag with football team names or the st George flag. Its only a name.

Go ask Swansea why they have the hand of ulster at matches.

Thanks for the reply, pity that chuckles felt the need to answers a question with a question once again.

I was only wondering whether they had adopted the flag,or as you pointed out just brought in by a few lads

Thanks again

In what way is it an attempt of rebranding the welsh flag?!    it's the flag of our countries patron saint.

What a fool. The St. Davd's flag is synonymous with Wales. It represents Wales FAR more than a shirt emblazoned with Malaysia.

Why shouldn't it be used?!

I hate to enter these tit for tat squabbles but how is that flag synonymous with Wales ? 99.9% of the UK population wouldn't have a clue what that flag symbolises.

It's only the flag of our patron saint...

Again, HOW is using this flag trying to "rebrand" the welsh flag?!

What utter drivel.

Disappointing quote there fella

Like others have said on this thread, I believe in principal with what this group are doing, signed the online petitions, but these quotes do no favours.

Do you class kids (who are the future supporters of this club) and just want the latest kit turncoats too?

Never stated it should not be used, (or as you reply to most post, where have I stated that)

It does seem strange that they do not except the rebrand of a football shirt, but are quite happy to accept a flag that has itself been rebranded,

The present St Davids flag is the church in wales flag not the original, the original being a Black Cross on a field of gold a complete reverse of the colours in the church flag.

And do you have to call people names to get your point across

The usual nonsense from you then. The question was asked "why the st David's flag?"

I gave reasons why.. I don't recall commenting about being a proud Welshman. It's just general knowledge. Should try getting some.

What a load of tosh. So, I'd you are against the red shorts, you aren't allowed to use anything else that's been rebranded.

Must remember never to shop in Asda again...
