I'm not quite sure why you'd think that a group of people dressed in blue walking peacefully to the match is disruptive, but there we are.

Oh, and I'll be there

It's city's biggest home game ever (although we'd all have our own views on that) and all you want to do is bang on about being blue. So this means you are looking for media time, which means the focus on the city, the club, the team and the first home game in the premier is being diverted - that to me is disruptive.

I've no problem with what you are doing, why not do it differently, something like a meet up say, let's grab the canton quadrangle of pubs, wethers, goscombe, napier, canton cross, corp and cover the whole damn place in blue?

You can still have your mass rally - in fact it would be better, pubs will be on hand - and you wont disrupt city fans getting to the ground by marching and shutting down roads!

Common sense really!

You want more people to join BU, don't piss them off on the first game of the season by road closures and delays by marching - think it through - you want support to increase for the cause!

Bazza, its as amusing as thinking you will see city in Blue again!

You've got two chances of playing in blue at home ever again, Tan sells up or Sam talks Tan around once he's back in the fold.

I think the latter is one area you should be pushing as soon as he's got his feet under the table.

You're being a bit of a drama queen to be honest.

Bunch of pro blue fans (which hopefully ALL City fans are...) meet up, show their pride in our historic identity, peacefully walk to the match, go to the game or fcuk off home again ( if you're a boycotter).

Ain't no big deal mate.

We live in a democracy, thank God, where peaceful protest is fully accepted.

Yes, Barry goes both ways, you agree you've no chnace to be blue again - and yet I see your one chance as using Sam H once he's back - and I bet a few others up the chain at BU do as well - or at least they should be thinking that way! That's help!

How many people do you think will be on this march?my guess 300,most people will be in the pub having a drink before the game enjoying this historic day not marching from the castle Imo.

If it were up to me then I would do whatever gets the most publicity, if that means disruption then so be it.

Being blue is more important to me than one game, 100%.

But i think you'll find BU see it differently, what they're doing will actually cause no disruption at all.

Marching before a match will affect the players in no way whatsoever.

The people in charge of it have done a FANTASTIC job so far and i'm glad so many people are getting behind it, and I have a feeling this will grow massively throughout the season.

Can't wait to have so many more people chanting "we'll always be blue" at home games next season, hopefully then Tan will get the message. :ayatollah:

The numbers at this march will be very important to bu,we've had all the signatures but this will be the real test.
It'll be interesting to see how it goes.

As I said, there was more than double that at a single meeting during the off season on a "school night"...

A think a lot more valley folk will be at this march than attended the off season meets.

We will be down there for the match anyway so would be rude not to come along.

That's a good point.
Anything less than about a 1,000 and i think BU will be bitterly disappointed. :ayatollah:
