So what's the excuse this time?

Wed Jul 17, 2013 9:19 pm

Reading on here, you Taffs have 2,000 unsold ticks left for your first ever premier game, sold a paltry 1,000

Your excuse why only a couple of hundred came to Elland rd, restrictions to costly. Now what's the excuse you lot are in the Premier league,so it costs more and everyone sell out but not you traffies  We brought near our full allocation to you lot nothing to play for every year, sometimes selling out. We take thousands every where, when do you?

Interested in your excuses?

There's a feckin month to go.

When Vince posted they had only been on sale for 2 days and restricted to only about 2000 who'd done the no. of games required (based on numbers given for Hull last year) !

Probably several hundred more sold today - I know a lot of the boys on our bus got theirs today, myself included.

You have got excellent away support - one of the best in the country no doubt (sh1t home gates mind) but how many had you sold for your 1st away of the season 4 weeks before the season was due to start ?

If Leeds had spent the last 50 years in the lower leagues - then trust me - your support would be no where near the support you currently get. In fact, your gates have already significantly dropped off since you've been in the lower leagues - so stop making stupid comparisons. There are no guarantees in football - you might see yourselves :malky: go into hibernation and adopt that sleeping giant tag    :malky:

Most retarded comment I've ever read.

Firstly name and shame these Manu/ Liverpool fans that now follow the city? You cannot because its f*cking nonsense.
Secondly "You ain't lost your identity" shows you clearly know f**k all about football,or Leeds history. Don Revvie , the legend of Yorkshire who famously changed Leeds kit colour from Blue and Yellow to White because he liked Real Madrid so much.
And lastly why are you even responding to this Troll. He is about as much Leeds as I am Papa Smurf.

There's no mention of him saying we are bigger than Leeds, we aren't. He states quite correctly that
our attendances last season were bigger than Leeds'. In twenty years time, if Cardiff stay in the Premier
League and Leeds continue to slump. Would you agree that Cardiff City may be playing in front of 40,000
every other week and Leeds playing in front of maybe 15,000 if they're lucky? THAT being the case, there
could well be an argument that Cardiff City have the potential to be a bigger Club than Leeds in years to
come. Swansea City, however will still be playing in front of 20,000 in their third season as a Premiership
Club. Simply because they know they are pretty severely capped as to the extent of the support out West.
Swansea has an area (Neath/Port Talbot) with a population of over 150,000 yet Swansea City cannot even
claim those areas to be ''Swansea City towns" - So swansea will never really get much bigger than you are
right now - and you all know it.

ps. Yes you've been the ''best'' Club in Wales for the last few seasons. You can have that one. Your welcome.

Get down to Bournemouth.....Leeds...........ha ha what a joke of a city..the place dont scare nobody mate....we been going to places like millwall and portsmouth for years...........you missed all that when you WERE a big club.

Nail on the head there mate. Leeds WERE a big Club. Cardiff City are NOT, but the potential is there
and the fact that we have plans for a 42,000 seater stadium underlines it. Thats all there is to say on
the matter really. For a Jack to stick his oar in about ANYONE being a 'big club'....

I think they have huge issues and Napoleon complex down there. As well as 'Cardiff obsession'
