Fair play thats phenomenal support for a pre season friendly, and after all thats happened to them. Only man utd can match rangers for support in British football, celtic played swansea two years ago pre season friendly and only had 450 fans at the liberty, rangers are different class.

I agree phenomenal support and Celtic only brought 750 fans to Cardiff.

A trip to Bristol for the gers fan's was probably seen as a better trip then the scottish towns they visit this season. Yes I agree, great support.

youre forgetting something annis they were played us in a midweek game then they were in wembley for the umbro cup which they won over three days there support there was brilliant if we played them down here on a saturday they would bring thousands

They were not in the umbro cup when they played swansea 450 was poor thought they would bring more

Martyn, I agree it was, but we also played them home on a Sat and they only brought 800 fans.
Plus in the Algarve Cup, they had thousands wearing the shirts in the Algarve but when we played them only 500 of them were at the match and we virtually outnumbered them 3/1 that night, loved it.

Yes of course Celtic are massive, but for the big big games nowadays.

And then they came round the corner with wurzel accents and started smashing their pint glasses on cars and throwing bottles, and the bouncers on the borough door hid under the tarpaulin up against Howells as the pub emptied

It carried on up westgate street as we bumped into them at the lights by the castle - all bad timing.

Must have been the heat and drink that turned them violent
