What's the best atmosphere you ever seen at Ninian Park?

Probably the derby games against the Jacks and Bristol City or a different type of atmosphere
Millwall 1999

Cardiff v Leeds, Bristol games.

Cardiff 2-1 Watford when McCormack scored last minute penalty in 6/7 minutes added on time.

Loads of people left and it was crazy when McCormack scored.

Leeds by miles.

Man city in the cup never forget the moment when blake scored i was right behind the goal.

That Chelsea 3-3 game, not for the faint hearted

Leeds fa cup game IMO

City v Spurs, Wrexham & Everton, fa cup run 77. Chelsea 77. All the Swansea games, specially 1980 (3-3) to name but a few,,,,,the Stoke play off game was good, but depressing in the end.

Wales, Yugoslavia (twice), Scotland a few times ( who could forget the night Jock Stein died), & England (think it was about 78) when Phil Dwyer scored.

To add to the above - vs Barnsley in May 2008 - last league game of the season, just before our FA Cup final - absolutely packed, we won 3-0 and the place was bouncing...

God I miss that place... I used to love the music piped around the ground on matchdays, the smell of the burger stand and then finally, the smell of the pitch as I used to walk around the corner onto the Bob Bank...

AH The good ole' days when Ali was allowed to use the word 'bluebirds' without fearing the sack or worse.

FA cup v Leeds will take some beating imo. Sam firing up the faithful was a memorable occasion.

The Leeds game was a great night (apart from the negative aspects).

Very eager , We were all standing around the pitch when somebody blew a whistle & we all charged on. I spent the last 10 minutes in the medic room at the end of the canton stand. An Ambulance took me to the Royal infirmary ,the next day I had an operation on my arm Great day

The Leeds game for pure drama and the hi jinks from Sam, I was in the grange end that game and it was absolutely crazy. However the Man City game for me in the cup when Blake scored. They weren't really a massive scalp which is why Leeds gets talked more but the Man City fans were fantastic and it was a real cup atmosphere and I haven't seen so many Cardiff fans fired up for a game.

v Man Utd in 1974 (10,000 united in the bob bank) and the grange end packed to the rafters and swaying like the old Liverpool Kop
v Palace in the 70s ( night game) - if I remember correctly, Cardiff avoided the drop and sent Palace down instead ( big pitch invasion at the end)
