We get very cynical and blinkered when talking about Cardiff City, we forget there is a whole world out there and much more important things than football.

Tom Ince has JUST become a dad.

Fair play, suddenly makes a lot more sense after what Malky said.

No wonder hes taking his time,would be Big step moving them down here,or if he came on his own,would be away from his kid

Yes this puts alot into perspective! He will have alot to think about with the new baby arriving

thats a fair point but why not say his girlfriend is due to give birht etc just eases the hassle for him,i would be suprised if he comes as you cant imagine his girlfriend wanting to be away from her family ,so maybe this is why he wants to stay up north,unless his missus says ,"right now we've had the baby lets get down to kaaaaaaaaaaardiiiiffff cos i wants my halle rae to speak proper like what they does" .....then again maybe tom ince is getting like us by saying about his decision "ill do it now in a minute "

Everyone had a dig at why he went back to Blackpool.

Explains why he needs time to think when you got a big career move and your going to be a dad in a few weeks.

Most likely held back coming here because the baby coming at anytime.

well you cant blame him if he stays in his area for family reason now with a new baby but then again him and his missus may think lets get down there ,bigger wages ,hes gonna need them as hes looking after them now .COME ON TOM ,BABY ARRIVED AND PREM FOOTBALL BY 2MORO ....GET IT DONE

honestly think he's aware of this board?

Him coming is obviously now an even bigger deal with a new born kid, but I imagine everything has been done
that can be done to make him feel at home if he signs. The problem would likely be his misses if she comes
down with the baby. On her own, no friends etc.

He hasn't had any more media coverage than normal. Just a bunch of impatient fans on social media, who don't realise that people have lives beyond football.

If he didn't want to tell the world about his imminent fatherhood, he doesn't have to.
