4/5 Players coming in for talks

Wed Jul 03, 2013 10:10 pm

One is Ince, another is Wanyama...not sure on the others.

A relative does work for the club and passed this on. He speaks with heads of the club fairly regularly, and he's not particularly in to football himself.

In his words, he also said: "oh, and the Arab chap is coming back"

No idea how much of this is 'fact' but thought I'd pass on what I was told.

My assumption is he means Sam Hamman. This shows how much he really cares about football which re-enforces why he has no reason to make it up!!

Who's the arab chap?

Arab chap? It must be Sam Hamman?

Pauly I think you may be spot on.

My relative has no reason to make this up...he doesn't really follow football. He gets told a lot and mentions bits, so I was intrigued about the players coming in for "interviews" (as he put it!), and the part about Sam (not sure of any specifics though). He was with Cornelius this week too before he went back home. Said he's a proper unit, big guy, no neck! Nice kid though.

Lets hope we have some more signings by next Monday :ayatollah:

I believe you Pauly and its all pointing that way, Tan is trying to get Sam to be part of the club instead of money, I dont see it working personally and I would rather the debt sorted once and for all, we move on, then Tan moves on and our identity back. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: Players wise also true. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

This site is like a who's who of self confessed "ITK" folk.
Don't you feel it strange that your friend knew Ince and Wanyma but couldn't name the other 3 players ?
"Arab chap" yes you certainly found the right forum

Can't believe how gullible some folk are on ere

Gullible? No.

Just passing on information from a family member who works at the club and doesn't overly follow football and therefor has no reason to fabricate things? Yes.

Chill your boots.

And no, I don't find it strange that he couldn't name the other 3 players. If you put Rooney or Beckham in a line up he'd probably struggle to point them out - that's how much he's fussed on football

I have heard from a source at the club, that staff are banned from using the name "Sam Hammam" they are only allowed to refer to him as " The Arab Chap" . Any utterance of his name will be met with instant dismissal.

Yes.

Lets see what happens.

Half of you on here may as well go down to Tesco and read the in-store advertising board instead of this as you appear to have more interest in 'objecting' to comments rather than interested in football matters or contributing a constructive opinion!

I'm simply passing on what I've been told...I won't bother in future!

Paula, the problem on here lately is anyone who wants to share what they hear get slagged off for it and make posters to scared to say anything, like I say I believe in what youve said as its very possible it could happen :ayatollah:

From the last weeks events on here, I can understand people being sceptical, however every post on here gets criticised at the moment or turns into an alternative agenda...very annoying.

Lets see what happens with these players 'interviews' over the next few weeks. Hopefully it'll build the strong squad that we all crave!

the problem you have here, is that people have come on here and basically just made shit up. Cant see why you (or anyone for that matter) would lie about knowing someone who works at the club though.

People are desperate for information i guess it comes down to, anyone could make an established guess that wanyama and ince will sign, and people are going to be suspicious about information like this.

Basically, go back to your friend and tell him to find out more, then come and share it with all of us  :ayatollah:

It's possible it could happen, but just a probable it wont happen, that is the good thing with a forum, the info is put out there then it's up to the individual if they want to believe it or not :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Are you seriously suggesting that you need to be into football to know who David Beckham is?

Paul do carry on posting. It is down to users themselves if they believe it or not. Those that just criticise, annoying little shits I know, just ignore as much as possible. Constructive criticism is welcome here but petty comments from these childish lot we seem to have attracted will be pointed to CCMB in the future.
