I am convinced if City had still been in Blue

Sun Jun 30, 2013 7:11 pm

We would at this stage sold out of the new Premier league shirts, instead the club is struggling to sell them and you do not see red every where, more utd and liverpool in wales, yet i see blue all the time.
Everton have a waiting list already for their since they put theirs on sale.

This is City's first ever season in the Premier league, with thousands of city fans begging for tickets yet city can not sell them, surely they should sell at least 40,000 home shirts, but me not think they will sell more than 10,000 this season. if blue 40,000 would of sold, what do you think?

I agree, do we know roughly how many red shirts have been sold yet?

I disagree..
If we were still wearing a blue shirt.. Surely we would not even be at this stage..
Isn't red a lucky colour?

Weve sold hardley any Red shirts 500 at the most if we had been in blue with a decent badge we would have sold thousands by now :sad7:

Yet more propaganda.

Any sources that back your theory up regarding shirt sales or are you shit stirring again in time for the new season? I want blue back but Cardiff fans aren't stupid, there was plenty of red shirts on display last season and I expect more will be seen this season as the plastic army treble in number.

I think its safe to say if home shirts were blue sales would have gone through the roof.
but we are where we are and there's no going back.a real shame.

We have red home shirts so who knows how many blue shirts we would sell? So it's an irrelevant question because we don't play in blue at home! Its that simples!

I haven't bought a red and won't. But no idea of actual sales, but I imagine if it had been high w/queues out the door there'd be photos of the club website/Facebook.

Correct its totally relevant, what a daft thing to say its not relevant, all sales are relevant, Cardiff City is a business as well as our club is it not?

15,000 RED SHIRTS WERE SOLD LAST SEASON.
15K

Speculation is irrelevant as we don't play in blue at home thats what I mean! There is a lot more red sold than people won't you to believe on here!
Also tan knows sales are not as good if play in blue but he obviously doesn't care or he would do something about it?

Clearly we don't play in blue at home, but clearly a lot still want to,from what I can see,the red is being worn by adults who have supported city for around 3 years(does that include yourself)?,and youngsters

Why have you all got your head in the sand regarding the popularity of the red? It was a massive hit with the fanbase, young and old. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw all the red merchandise being warn by people, even blokes I stood with on the Bob bank were wearing it. It's beyond.

Am I the only realist posting on here at the moment? Red clearly not going away. Tans not going away. The only way he will go away is when we as a fanbase stop buying tickets yet that will only happen when we get relegated and the fickle bunch on here don't renew because we aren't premier league.

Premiership money means Clubs don't need to rely om small matters like shirt sales.
