No player at City will be earning more than £40,000 a week. Even this ceiling figure is reserved for top, top players.

Yeah I would say the most he should be on is around 35k I think we would not pay more than 50k a week for anyone

I hope so the best way to do it is to offer bonuses to players for wins, goals etc that would then maybe bump their wage up to 40/45k

With any of these players of quality we will have to fight other teams the only way we can.

In our favour we have money (it would seem), Premier League Football and a place in the first team. In order for us to fight top half teams and teams in Europe we will have to offer more wages and hope the greed kicks in.

You really don't want players coming for the cash but that's how we have to play it IF we want the quality. We may get some bites when offering first team footy against a Liverpool or Man City rotation system.

Our other hope is teams just thinking about putting in a bid do not want to take the chance with an untested player at this level. We have nothing to lose.

That said I would be surprised if we paid anyone more that £40-45million.
