Do you think we, a PL team should be taking a risk on a player like this? Cant see Malky doing it myself and rightly so. Now if Jones was still our manager then I wouldn't be so sure.

Fair enough and you are entitled to my opinion but im going to take what my mate who's a Wolves fan has said on board. He see's him every home game so knows the score with such players. You only have to go on to their forums to see the terms 'lazy, frustrating, etc' to describe him. Rather spend £1m on Kuyt to do the business for a season.

What your not taking into account James are that some players react to different scenarios.

Take Bales who started out as a defender, got recognised, moved to Tottenham where it nearly all went wrong. He was moved to the wing where it happened for him. Bale showed the potential but it needed to be groomed.

Sako has shown the same potential although in a different way. That potential needs to be groomed just like Bale. That was never going to happen in a Wolves team that was basically screwed up.

Fair enough if that is what you think can be done with Sako. I think Bale was a rarity and thats why hes earning such plaudits. If we signed Sako I'd give him the benefit of the doubt obviously, as any player deserves a chance, but I would be skeptical on the basis of what I've been told.

Do we want a player who adapts to scenarios or do we want players like Bellamy and Aron and so forth who give their all on the pitch? I know what type of player I'd prefer. I rate Taarabt but the same issues with him are what many slate him for. We're now in a position, I believe, to be selective with players. We're not this relegation fodder some think we will be. People are in for a shock.
