Surely better to keep shit like that badly written un-factual bollocks off here.

Everyone's a journalist these days.

Agree with both these points just thought people might find it interesting at the time. Will be more selective in future.

Bafetimbi Gomis: Linked with Cardiff but move looks unlikely
For Cardiff, the realities of being a newly-promoted team in the Premier League are striking home. Despite paying a club record 7.5 million for Andreas Cornelius, Malky Mackay is finding it hard to spend his £25million war chest effectively.
The Cardiff manager has identified some class, high-level players but getting them into the Cardiff City Stadium is not proving easy. First of all teams like Swansea or Southampton are likely to match or better any Cardiff bid and the player is always going to accept favourable terms at the more established club.
Perhaps Mackay can snare the players he wants with lucrative contracts that outweigh the others on offer but you surely run the risk of signing only money-grabbers. This could be what we are seeing in the case of Victor Wanyama. This has proven a huge weight around the neck of relegated teams in the past and QPR right now. Surely not a risk Cardiff will take.
The Bluebirds must split their £25million between probably four or five new signings. Other established clubs outside the promoted trio of Cardiff, Hull and Crystal Palace, hunting the same players, may have less total money to spend but can spend it on a lesser number of players.
This means an outlay of say £10million on a Victor Wanyama doesn’t leave much left when you consider rumours of £12-15million bid being tabled for French striker Bafetimbi Gomis from Lyon. Of course Cardiff face the same issues trying to nab Gomis. For that reason it is unlikely Mackay can pull off either one never mind both these deals.
With Cardiff having paid 7.5 million for Cornelius and 8.5 offered for an overpriced Thomas Ince* it looks like Mackay has decided to outbid other teams for the second choice (level) players he can get. It’s a gamble but one that may work. It will all depend on just how good these players turn out to be. Ince appears to be holding out for a better club with more Premier league security, so this deal is far from done.
Another revealing indicator from European sources was news that the Bluebirds recently bid for Son Heung-Min, the South Korean international team-mate of Kim Bo-Kyung. Naturally the player chose Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and Champions League football but he fits the model.
Cardiff will probably need to wait until the transfer window is about to close before knowing who they can attract from near the top of their wanted list, if anyone. I would expect some earlier lower profile signings from N-Power league teams or abroad where Mackay has been willing to make a splash previously.
I hope Mackay’s powers of persuasion are good enough to land at least a couple of top level signings. I also hope he can persuade someone like a Dirk Kuyt to join up, or one or two other experienced players who might be past their best but still good enough to contribute. Inexperience doesn’t usually do well in the Premier League.
Spending £25million seems like an easy task and so it will be, if you don’t care who you sign. Mackay has continued to maintain he will not pay over the odds for players. He is about to have his resolve severely tested. Supporters will begin to get edgy and frustrated if new signings are not forthcoming soon.
Even City captain Mark Hudson seems to be preparing for the worst as he talks about the current squad being good enough as it is. Hudson’s confidence is admirable but once the dust settles on the first six to 10 games of the season I hope he is feeling just as confident – new signings or not.
* I previously stated I didn’t think Mackay would pay an inflated price for Blackpool star Ince. It appears I am wrong but the manager’s valuation of the player seems out of line with where other clubs value Ince. Of course Ince is still young and may improve even more but any return on investment at 8.5 million seems risky. A chance Mackay looks happy to take and a course of action, Cornelius included, the Bluebirds just might have to gamble on.

If you were a class football act with potential to go to the premier like Ince or Wany then you would be looking at a more established team than one just promoted for the first time in 50 years. Just look at the other 2 promoted teams, they have not exactly signed the quality we have been looking for.
The article mentions we might have to spend over the odds to get our player. We have gone £8 million for Ince so who thinks he is worth that? This Cornelious has cost us £8 m and lets be honest here how many of us think this is value 100%.
It is not going to be easy to get the quality in.

You're basing your opinion on nothing more than speculation.
How do you know what Ince and wanyama are thinking? How do you know we are interested in them?
On the basis of scout reports and people who have witnessed Cornelius play live (Ole Solksjaer, who should know a good striker) this boy has huge potential.
