It's annoying that the window had been open ten days and we had more time to prepare for this season than some Prem teams that survived relegation yet Hull that were promoted on the last day have made moves ahead of us.

But this is how Malky operates. Slowly and surely to make sure he gets the players he wants. That's not going to change so we should get used to it. Although he hasn't steered us wrong so far.

Look how foolish Liverpool have been. £50m from Torres and then go screaming about it'll all be available to spend so obviously Mike Ashley took them for mugs and whacked Carroll's price up. I'd rather wait a while than for the club to get ripped off for doing stupid things.

Its a shame the PR department aren't as shrewd and intelligent as Malky and his movement in the transfer market. People slate him and say we aint getting our targets, most of the 'targets' reported we are never interested in anyway and its all paper talk.

Just chill out and wait. I've heard 2 deals are done (CityGent said not to worry and then I spoke to a couple of other people on the basis of that news) and its fine. Stop worrying, enjoy the summer and enjoy the surprises along the way.

I can see this dragging on a little while, we have probably offered ince a contract but him and his agent or his father aren't gonna accept it yet because they will more likely want to wait to see if a more established premier league club comes in for him, that is my guess anyway
