As much as it is annoying, the ticket office are slightly at fault for never addressing the issue quick enough.

Hopefully they'll be a thing of the past now that people can 'sell' back their spare seats.
I would hope that if someone can't go to a game they'll take up that option so at least it'll free up the seat for someone else.

We should be full every game. (Parking is going to be a nightmare!)

No. The tickets will get sold on to the Gold members etc, there won't be an empty seat in the house even for the less glamorous fixtures in my opinon

With only 19 home games, anyone who misses 4 games should lose their ticket.

There should be no excuses this season with the sell your ticket back to the club scheme.

Its really anoying when I have mates that want to take their kids down in the family stand and they are turned away because the section is sold out. Then the stand has shit loads of empty seats every game!!!

From the canton stand last season it looked like that the majority of games had upto 50% of fans not turning up!!

And I slightly agree with the earlier post if you miss a certain amount of games and havent attempted to contact the club to sell your tickets back you lose the right to renew the next season because its unfair on people who dont want to take their kids in the canton stand but cant get ticket in the family when loads of people are not turning up

You strange person... If someone makes only 15 out of 19 games, you think they should have their ST taken off them? bananas.

I think you need to join the real world, if you want to take STs off people who "only" make 15 out of 19 games.

With many 1000's on a waiting list ?

It seems the real world is not in your sight.

Re: EMPTY SEATS IN FAMILY STAND

TBH I can't see people bothering to sell back unused kids tickets in the family stand... for example I pay £49 for my sons and daughters ticket

last season I took my son to most evening games, but my daughter at 9 is too young (as we live in Chepstow)

so if i sold this back at £49/19 matches / 2 (as club keep 50%) = £1.29 off next seasons ticket...

for those with under 9's (which I guess are ones most unlikely to come to evening/later KO games) these were free, so I would assume they get nothing...

hardly an incentive to sit trying to get through to the ticket office :|

I will be only GOING to four games this season. Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. The rest of the time the ticket will sit in the draw, just in case my rugby loving brother who lives in Swansea fancies seeing the Jacks or watching Man City as he has followed them since May 2012.

I bought the season ticket and have had one since 1976. Now we are in the Prem I am going to reap the rewards of watching my ST stagnate whilst johnny come latelies beg for tickets. PL money bags football is not for me so I'll watch a few games and that's it.

It's my ST, i paid for it so it's up to me how I use it.

Yes, with many thousands on the waiting list... A friend of mine missed 4 games last season due to work commitments.. He is about as loyal as they come.. Does that mean that he should have his ST taken off him?

Get your head out of the clouds.

It's obviously a lie, but, as you say, it DOES say it all. Even in the most awful scenarios I put forward, EVEN THEN we have no right how to tell ANYONE how they use a product they bought.

Your issue is with the club and if the buy back STILL does not work then the club need to up the buy back price. At some point it will be worthwhile for the club AND the fan. We will then see a full ground all the time.

p.s. I don't have a brother and no facker is having my ticket because I will ALWAYS be using it. :ayatollah:

Re: EMPTY SEATS IN FAMILY STAND

Yes there will be plenty of empty seats in the Family Stand.

Iv stopped moaning about it now though as there's no point.

For example, Stoke 1pm on a Saturday or Norwich at 4pm on a Sunday or Fulham at 8 on a Monday (just examples) will
have empty seats.

I think there are about 8 or 9 sides that even if it were 3pm on a Saturday the Family Stand will still have a large amount of empty seats, even more so if we are getting hammered every week or struggling as the way the seats were sold at the start
make it to easy for people to keep the seats but miss games.

Selling the seats back to the club isnt going to make a difference as people aint going to go through the hasle of doing it for a couple of quid which is all it would amount to.

Funny. I missed 3 or 4 games because of holidays / work last year, Just didn't bother giving my card away for the game. Will likely give them away if I can't go this time..............imagine a stranger sat next to your muckers and he tells them you 'sold' the ticket rather than give it away.

But the Family Stand is probably different. Not sure it's the financial return but hopefully people will be more alert to being able to make them available and do it!

I hope so.
