There were over 600 fans who turned up on a Tuesday night in a pub to show their Support for Bluebirds Unite, they had 300 for their first meeting 2 weeks ago.
In 10 days approx 5,500 sign a petition and in a month 2,400 aprox join the group and remember not everyone looks on this forum and fb. This group is growing rapidly and has an excellent Spokesperson/leader in Sian Branson who I am fully behind. They have already putting together a committee of about 20 fans who can give a lot of time and can help organise things for Bluebirds Unite.THey are now getting plenty of publicity.
Mistakes will be made along the way, but they will be corrected. The aim of the group is to keep our identity alive and keep the Club aware that We want it back, we have no intentions of hurting our club. The Group stands for one thing only restoring Cardiff City's identity/Colour and reminding everyone about it and at the same time it is making a lot of fans proud again who are involved in it and that includes myself.
No Bluebirds Unite will not be joining the Trust, the Trust is welcome to Support Bluebirds Unite and its aims. Bluebirds Unite welcomes all City fans who want our Identity back and are willing to show that by wearing the Blue at home and away games and not endorsing the Red by buying it and wearing it. There will be no belittling of other fans, all we want is Cardiff City to be Blue again and our fans to wear it with Pride.
Yes a march will be organised and I will anticipate that 3,000- 4,000 will join it,a big high profile game will be chosen, so the World will see it on TV. I would like more, but who knows.
Why dont you all give this group a chance, they have harmed no one, they just believe like myself that Cardiff City should be BLUE. Thats All I have ever known and that to me is Our Identity. BLUEBIRDS.
I cant be bothered having arguments/debates about it, your either with us or not, My stance has never changed, I am BLUE end Off and I want my club have to its True Identity returned, the one I have only ever known.![]()

one point though i dont think a march will do any good and will be pretty unnoticed by tan . A boycott of a big friendly game coming up and instead playing a game over sloper park with thousands watching it in blue would make a much bigger statement ! imagine a game across the road attracting more fans than the actual match would realy make tan take notice imo

Stupid idea and won't happen, you've just posted a thread if I'm correct saying who we're playing so which stance would you be on? No chance. Fans will go to the friendly because it's their club, depends on the stature, if it's Betis then I expect about 6k-8k there.
Also another thing, Bluebirds Unite say they're all welcome yet I read posts like
"Anyone wearing Franchise FC stuff will be banned from the pub" etc, f*cking terrible, sorry for wearing different clothes, absolute faggots

Instead supporting the club as we know it and refusing to let that die

Good point. You must chose your battles wisely though.

adr wrote:What reason would Tan have to return to blue?
Are all the fans who signed the petition gonna stop attending the games so that tan sees the financial impact? oh wait, 20,000+ fans have already handed over their money for next season. Premiership football is more important than the colour for a lot of fans.
I like many would prefer Blue if I had a choice but the fact is that we are in Red and unless fans are going to boycott the matches or refuse to purchase a shirt then we will remain Red. Tan has no reason to change and is not under pressure too.

Not only choose them wisely but fight them at the right time.
Most people probably would prefer to see Cardiff wearing Blue, but a hell of a lot more prefer to know, who we're are signing or playing first. Still rejoicing in winning the championship and getting excited about playing premiership football. If things were not going so well that 600 who attended the meeting could have been 6000 or more. Apathy rules.
