AAMB representative

Sun Jun 09, 2013 9:36 pm

Would you like a forum representative for the supporters trust? If so why?

Re: AAMB representative

Sun Jun 09, 2013 9:40 pm

I said yes, purely because it would help get more fans views of the running of the club aired to the club.

Re: AAMB representative

Sun Jun 09, 2013 9:41 pm

No. This is just a message board for goodness sake.

Re: AAMB representative

Sun Jun 09, 2013 9:42 pm

I find the trust a bit a joke so no.

But there's quite a lot of cardiff fans on here, so surely it should help Cardiff fans saying how they feel?

That's what we have a trust for. We should all join the trust.

Perhaps people would rather have someone speak for them. Like MPs, we all know how good MPs are. :D

The trust have representation & have democratically selected "representatives" selected. A far better way of doing it & one that would be far more respected by the clubs.

On the other hand, people have been saying the trust don't do much for the fans, so perhaps someone on here will actually try and put their opinions across to the club?

Do the trust have shares in the club?

I mean surely the trust get a say on whether they have a representative of a forum.

If everyone joined the trust they would hold a lot more clout.

Strength in numbers!

Hmmm. I still think it'd be more organised if we had a representative.

Re: AAMB representative

Fair enough.

My point is valid Pugh. People moan that they haven't got a voice, yet snub joining the supporters trust.. It's a vicious circle, if they don't get the numbers, they don't get the clout. If they don't get the clout, people's views aren't represented.

Money put into the trust is also used to purchase shares in the club, which gives fans even more of a say in how it's run... Which can only be a good thing.

I agree. But, what if people didn't think their views would be heard by the club but others who know people within the club did?

P.S despite being drunk, my stance stays the same, god I love democracy.

Re: AAMB representative

said this earlier! no. the trust has ten times as many members as thi board has people who travel with it or meet
for a pint its a messageboard ffs its people leting of steam on the internet cos they got the laptop handy fair fucks
to the ones that join the trust at least they are trying to have a say the only way to get someone of this board on the
board of the trust is for everyone to join the trust and vote the feller on it mus be embarasing for the lads who run this board that some of the posters think its like some kind of power base. it aint. its a place were people can type stuff if they want or go watch hamster. if u want a voice - join the trust in numbers because with big numbers you get a say right nopw its divide and rule

Unless the Trust want to get Tan out then its useless. We wont be back in blue until Tan is forced out or leaves. The Trust can try and be as politically correct, democratic and diplomatic as they like but Tan does things his way or else. There is no reasoning with him.

Why pay to join something when not enough people are going to be prepared to get Tan out? This is a serious question. The Trust should let us know where it currently stands before asking for others to join.

Do a survey or vote 'Tan and red or Tan out and blue' then adjust to suit the results. If more people would rather Tan and red then so be it, thats what the Trust members want.

And what would represent the views of the board? It's a message board that welcomes all fans from all clubs? Anyone could join and air views trying to be detrimental to the club. Or would only the views of select users count?

It would be a joke

Baz is right. There's so many diverse views and ways that people approach arguments and debate on here that one representative could never fairly represent the forums.

I agree otherwise all forums will be trying to get representatives for their own gain and not the fans in general
