Fri Jun 07, 2013 10:34 pm

I've never really watched match of the day religiously mainly watched the football league show at the cardiff games.
Can't wait to watch motd next season with us on there and watching the other teams to see what we are gonna be up against aswell. Hurry up new season :ayatollah:

Get ready to be disappointed. Poor coverage unles your top 6 and piss poor pundits. Goals on sunday and match choice on the other hand are great.

What do you expect when your team passes the feckin' ball around in their own half for 80 minutes in every game before giving the ball away (usually Williams these days but Tate before ;) ) and losing 1-0 again? :?

Strewth, your biggest fan is Ray Wilkins! (The older members will appreciate that one)  :ayatollah:

As the very best pundits are all saying (quote): "Cardiff will be a welcome addition to the Premier League; a breath of fresh air" (Unquote)

MOTD here we come! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Football First is going to be the best one. Extended coverage just a short time after the final whistle for those of us that can't make some games.

Re: MOTD Next Season

Sat Jun 08, 2013 8:07 am

Motd is the worst football show going. 3mins of a game shown, piss poor.

Red button on football first for 50mins of each game shown. much better for me.

Goals on sunday show about as much as the game as Motd but the review of each game is 100 times better. love goals on sunday just to hear the guys speaking about the game.

Exactly. Whats more with every game home and away on down the pub then motd is a complete waste. Agree the analysis on gos is a massive step up.

Gary Neville said it. Lineker has also had some very kind words to say, whilst all of the MOTD 2 pundits have been quoted on saying they think we will stay up. :D

As stated it was said not written.
Don't think palace or hull had been promoted at that point.

Learn to read AND pay attention to what the media are REALLY saying, Jack

Some pretty damning comments on Swansea's end of season performances, let me tell you. Comments from one pundit on Talk Sport:

"Swansea players seem to think their season ended the minute they picked up the League Cup Trophy at Wembley. Maybe that great achievement and having secured Premiership football for next season is considered enough. If I was their manager, I would be pulling my hair out and asking myself some questions about commitment...or has their style been worked out by the tacticians? I'm not sure, but it doesn't look good or positive down there at the moment"

And that was even before your (temporary) manager started engineering his way out of The Library Stadium
. Sort of makes you think he can see the writing n the wall, eh?

The 'pundits' certainly can ;) :ayatollah:

They hadn't, mate. It was a comment made on MOTD the night we confirmed promotion and (as you rightly state) similar was said on MOTD 2 AND by most pundits on Talk Sport :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Their arrogance is staggering at times. You'd think they were top 4 the way they praise themselves. Somebody has something positive to say about Cardiff and it can't be true!

Deluded. I'm no expert but I don't think 18 points from the last 18 games is champs league form.........

Re: MOTD Next Season

The punditry is awful. The coverage is generally good, although they will still miss out key moments and chances from the match - which wouldn't be so bad if there weren't a lot of people in the UK that didn't solely judge a team by MOTD.

I'm pretty sure they did all predict you to stay up, but they did that before the play offs had even started and before any sort of chances in squad and management for next season. I think it's too early to predict the league table until the transfer window closes, nevermind two months before the transfer window opens.

PRICELESS!

But I guess the 'punditary' would have been spot-on if they had fallen for your 'flatter to deceive' style of passing the ball around your own third, where Premier League teams tend to simply 'let you have it' as you are no threat from there...AS YOU SO PROVED IN MANY GAMES!

That would be the style that got us out of a division in 3 years, that took you 80m more and 10 years. Yhis would be the flatter to decieve style that has seen us beat premier league and champions league winners as well as arsenal, Liverpool etc. The style that won a trophy and sealed a top half finish.
Give me flatter to decieve any day over your hard work and team spirit bollocks. Thos os the premier league son not the inter cardiff somalia cup. And unless you sign some quality your stay will be a short one

That is going to come back and bite you in the arse next season.

We are a very difficult team to beat, ask Liverpool. That hard work ethic will see us ok and with the extra quality we will bring in we will be well safe. Hence why all the pundits are saying we are going to be safe.

Doubt we will see much of you next season.
