When Laudrup quoted £100m you knew he wanted to go. Why else would he stay? Swansea City will always be a selling club with no major investor and thats it. Every year they'll have to sell their best and bring in new to try and keep a competitive side together. It is of my opinion that it will only work for so long. Soon enough they'll roll the dice and land a 1 IMO.

Did quite like Laudrup but he's grated on me more and more as the season's gone on by having a pretty successful season with Swansea.

Would be nice to see him leave and hope Swansea manage to finally balls up on the new manager front. They must be due a miss by now...

History doesn't prove that unfortunately :(

However, if Jenkins went who knows ;)

The whole city disappearing from the map would be even better. 8-)

It's pointless it being on the map anyway.

The locals can't read maps and no one else ever wants to go there.

I guess it's a massive warning label though.

Was told 2 weeks ago that he would be leaving due to not having a decent budget.

Was told from head of the academy at Swansea.

They must be prime for a takeover now. No debt, Premier League club, in Europe. Why no big money coming in? I know they wouldn't want it but you'd think there'd be interest.

Because its a dive in a part of the UK full of heroin addicts, it doesn't even have an international airport for business links because most people dont even know it exists and its full of people like swansealad69. How is a place like that supposed to get investment?

I wonder who'll pay the money for Michu.

As a 20 goal striker they'll expect 15-20 million but that's a lot for a player that's had two good seasons in his career.

I was on about the club, not buying the whole city.

I'd assume he'd follow Laudrup into his next club

Depends who Laudrup goes to.

Still seems a lot for Michu at the moment.

£5 on Laudrup at 66/1 for the RM job with Bet Victor. Laudrup has told Huw to speak to his agent. He's definitely going. If he cant even be bothered to speak to the owner then you know he doesn't give two hoots.

Every time they lose key personnel (managers/players) we've all predicted doom and gloom for them.. & they go on and done even better...

I'd hoped that we would have learned by now & kept quiet a bit.

They won't keep sustaining it. They're not Chelsea and are punching well above their weight and Laudrup knows it, hence his recent comments
