And this is why hes divided the fans , his target audience is the fans who live in Cardiff , this is why we should be blue. His target audience wont give a shit what colour we play in over there , all the fans over there support a team on success (hence Liverpool,Chelsea, Man Utd , Man City being well supported over there ). If we played in blue and suddenly become a force in the prem (all hypothetical) they would still support us because of success, guaranteed. I agree, except he sees it as a businessman. There's a whole untapped markt in the Far East with investors aplenty. He puts the club on the stock market and people will be all over it, especially with the club in their precious red. But like you said, that's what is so infuriating. He's shitting on the actual fans just to cater to the Far Eastern businessmen. Good business, terrible morals.

The rebrand was to grow the CCFC brand and to grow his own pockets.

The 'lucky red' talk is just his way of putting a more romantic light on it. Which doesn't work. I think most fans would prefer he just come out and say it's about the money.
