Rudy did a good job when called upon last season and showed some serious promise. Needs more consistency and to stay injury free!

However, I have serious doubts that he is good enough for PL. Might be useful as a squad players but I think he would be best served with a loan spell at a Championship club where he could play regularly.

If people are going to get the stats up then put up how many times he loses the ball cos his control is shit.

Ball retention is going to be key in the premiership.

If we are relying on Rudy Gestede next season to score the goals to keep us up, we will go down. If he features regularly, it will show that we haven't strengthened sufficiently for the top division.

Just the fact that he's a Cardiff City player, doesn't mean I have to automatically think he was good enough. That's my opinion, I've backed it up with the reasons why too.

The Premiership and Championship are two different games completely. Bellamy said it himself in his book.

For the type of striker he is, it is. Adebayor, Zamora, need I go on. All getting on now. Its a technical position and mental game needs to be great. It comes with experience. Experience I'll admit Rudy does not yet possess to a great degree.
