No one wants a permanent compromise. We want our blue back, not red and blue. Of course you can try setting up a petition but you wouldn't get anywhere near the Bluebirds Unite petition.

The BU petition will give us a (very slight) chance of the club willing to compromise anyway.

If you say so butt you know what all the fans want i guess you can see it in your blue crystal ball by there can you. Cardiff city fans want what's best for the club and want the club to do well and move forward, a return to blue means Vincent tan leaves and if that happened it could have a bad and sad ending for cardiff city fc.

I'm sure no cardiff city fans want a bad and sad ending, could be on the cards courtesy of bluebirds unite if they want a full return to blue. Over and out.

If BU can get a compromise and keep tan on board then great but if its a full return to blue that their only after then i think it's not for the good of the club

I'm guessing you didn't see the interview where Tan said that if he left he would leave the club in good hands. And besides, we're not asking for Tan to leave, we want him to return us back to blue, it's a HUGE long shot, but it's worth a try. And when I say "we", I'm not talking about all Cardiff City fans, I'm on about the ones who want our identity back.

Every true Cardiff fan, the ones who have been there done that, and have years of tradition under their belt would want a return to blue. Granted some of the newer fans may be happy with red so they can watch their idols at utd and lievrpool etc, but in my humble opinion anybody who has followed the city for more than 4/5 years would surely want a return to blue!

Ironically my first game was V maesteg park (1993) in the welsh cup at ninian and if memory serves me right we wore our red SWE away kit that day, but I said then and I'll say it now at home City should be in blue!

I ain't an idiot or been brainwashed, I'm a cardiff city fan of over 10 years started watching them in the old division 2, I just got a differant option to people on the colours it seems and just want cardiff city to be the best they can and as I see it it's with tan on board with his vision and backing, if im an idiot or a clown in your eyes for that then I don't give a f**k to be honest

I wonder how many people would sign a KEEP CARDIFF RED petition out of pure annoyance from the attitudes of some of the extreme Blue brigade. I would be sorely tempted.

You are perfectly entitled to your opinion, however I do genuinely think you are in a minority.

Many fans who stayed quiet last year, rightly or wrongly, are now finding their voice. The traditions of the club have been disrespected because, as we now know from Tan himself, the change to red was not based on some genius marketing plan, but on his own personal superstition and preferences.

Starting a petition like that would, I am sure, attract signatures as every rival fan would love to stir it up.

I am also interested in why you ask someone else to start it up - there is nothing stopping you doing your own dirty work. I am sure you would make a lot of friends! :D

I wouldn't know how to make a petition and can't be f*cking arsed to be honest mate, point I was making though that there were people that were happy to go along with the club as it is now for the better and are more than happy with what tan is doing

Make us a profitable business attract other possible investors from Asian markets big money men, stadium expansion, new training ground, better academy, sort our historical debts out, make cardiff city a big club and a sustainable club.

He got the cash and business knowledge to do it imo and there's no fucker else waiting in the wings to do all that is there?
And if you can't see the progress the club is making now on and off the field with tan in charge your duller than you sound

What progress off the field has been made because of Tan's involvement? Genuine question.

Respect for that Jon. At least you got the balls to admit a compromise isn't enough for BU or those who want blue back. Ive seen flirting around the issue and it seems some blues are hesitant to say it in case it stops reluctant reds signing.

A stadium that was built well before Tan had even heard of Cardiff City? how has that got anything to do with Tan's involvement?!

New manager? You mean the manager he went crawling back to after Shearer refused the job? Tan wanted Shearer, not Malky.

Professional setup? That's nothing to do with Malky then?!

Debt cleared? When was that then? From what I can see, debt has increased under VT...

Tan has delivered on the field.. Off the field, the majority of the hard work was already completed before his increased power & presence.

Well it's true, I'm sure no one would want us to be red or red and blue forever. Of course a compromise is a step forward but the main goal is to get back to our true identity.
