' Martinez ? '

Sat Jun 01, 2013 3:32 pm

I was told on Monday that his move to Everton was far from a done deal, and murmurs that they could face competition from Manchester City

That Goodison Park short list might be getting even shorter soon

So does that mean Malky is firmly back on Everton's radar mate?

I would be shocked if he went to Man City just can't see it

I dont think he'll leave Wigan. Last year Wigan allowed him to talk to Liverpool and he choose not too

Monday looks key. Apprantly theres another round of meetings with the candidates.

The Russian reporter stated this about Bilic 4 hours ago:

Artur Petrosyan‏@arturpetrosyan4h
@BryanWoolfall he's still here and has another meeting on Monday.

Do you mind if he goes anyway? You've stopped going is that correct? What I hear you didn't go much anyway. I'm confused by your interest in our club. Thought you were fighting Barry Towns plight these days?

Re: ' Martinez ? '

Hes not going to Man City to manage, the press are saying that he would go as the No #2.

Guessing he does his time, earns his stripes and takes the managers job when Pellegrini goes. With the ex Barca guy as DoF, they will take on the Barca model that was installed during his time at Barca and promote from within.

Cant see martinez being a number 2 anywhere,he doesnt seem the type of guy to take a backwards step in his career-good manager in my opinion

I've got a wager on Bilic that's my main issue in all this. Lol

Also I've never been to Barry Town since at least 20 years ago but I care about the community which I live in as I'm a Vale resident. Is that so hard to understand?

With the current vacancies out there e.g Stoke,Man city,Everton,Real madrid, i think everton will find it hard to get their man.... Just hope they keep their hands off Malky

Re: ' Martinez ? '

Not sure why City Gent is putting the frighteners on... lord Malky has no chance of the Everton job, regardless of whether Martinez gets offered it or not.

Rangnick steamed in from nowhere on Thursday - after his interview with Kenwright. He is the ex-Schalke manager - but took time off with stress after the Schalke board sold a few of his top players.

The number 1 choice for Everton fans is the Porto coach - Vitor Pereira. He's the fans favourate by quite a distance. He has been holding off from signing a new contract at Porto.

The three man shortlist is Martinez, Rangnick & Pereira. Malky isnt on it, so dont worry peeps.
